What is acting like your race anyway? I mean I don't understand why people say things like that. I mean seriously. Why should anyway project a stereotype to make others happy.

i think you should act like YOU not any race or anything like that. you're your own individual and having a stereotype define you just shows shallowness and ignorance. i think.
personally i act differently than i look, and its annoying when people assume my personality to that of how i look. it kinda shows their ignorance.

The reason why another race identify with one not of their own is because they identify with their own race. White man proud to be white these days, because he'll be labeled a racist. While a black man can be proud, and be proud black brother. It's the sad truth. And i hate the whole "act your own race" thing. It's really horrible, because your telling people to act like their race stereotype. You white kids to act like white trash. Which isn't all that bad. Their needs to be exploitation of white trash culture. It's just like ghetto culture only in the trail parks, and 30% more country music.

Anyone on the planet can tell you I don't act what is expected of me at aaaaall.
I'm thought at first sight to be stereotype, which pisses me off, but I don't hang around those type of people too long. Society that even thinks like that is stupid; there is no personality that defines a person's race. Maybe a race might have a certain ethnical style or cultural way about them, but nothing should be expected of people by the color of their skin.

Oh, about ghetto attitudes, that equally pisses me off when people act like that, African Americans and Caucasians alike. That's pretty much true. While there are some people I know who are from bad parts of town and act like it, there are also a lot of caucasians living the good life in the nice district with all the big fancy suburban houses, who just think it's funny/cool to say things like 'up in my grill' and 'cracka'. I really don't know which ones are more annoying. :\

And around my area theres a certain way to act that makes you "White" There is a certain way that makes you "Black" If you're someone black that lives around my area and you act white your considered an oreo, Black on the outside white on the inside it's kind of sad really.

i agree. "oreo" isn't used to much in my school, b/c in my area, if your black, your automaticlly popular. Then theres a bunch of white guys who act like the sterotype black. its a huge problem and what makes different color people so special? maybe its b/c all the black guys in my school, act the sterotype black.
