I want to add my own custom pokemon to my game. I found a few guides on the internet, but they are all replacing other pokemon, but i don't what them to do that.

I'm new to rom hacking, so please tell me the easiest method :)

The easiest method would be replacing the 25 empty stots after Celebi and before Treecko.
There are many tutorials that explain on how to do that.
