Adding options to the Options screen?

    How do you add more options? For example, being able to change your difficulty during the game? Changing screen brightness?

    The options are simple variables that other scripts check. For most things you can just c+v similar options and change to taste. Things like game difficulty would require scripting in other sections of the scripts. I have no idea how changing the screen brightness would work. My OS can't even change my monitor brightness sometimes
