Probably because people want to migrate pokemon from Gen III games to Gen IV games and to find a shop selling Gen III games is tough nowdays.
Does anyone know exactly why they replaced Steven with Wallace and Wallace with Juan in Emerald?
Must be because Steven resigned as champion and Wallace, being the 8th Gym Leader (or you can say the last), was promoted to Champion. Wallace must have got a choice to make anyone the Sootopolis Gym Leader and made Juan, his teacher (or former teacher), the Gym Leader.Does anyone know exactly why they replaced Steven with Wallace and Wallace with Juan in Emerald?

Thanks for the help guys. ^_^
I can understand that they probably wanted someone as strong as Red in it, but it's still a wonder why they chose Wallace to take over as Champion.
I know people have probably gone over this time and time again, but I could not find any reliable answers anywhere on Google... So, anywho, in Emerald, is there a way to reboot the internal battery without replacing it? I just bought it, and I kind of bummed that I can't grow Berries, visit Mirage Island, change tides in Shoal Cave, etc... Any help, here? Again, I don't trust myself to replace it. It's okay if I have to reset my game file, though; the only significant thing I've done was choosing my Starter.
EDIT: Does this affect Rematches? If so, and if there's no way to fix it, I'll just return it to GameStop...
Hm... I thought the Berry glitch was only supposed to affect R/S. Have you tried the Berry fix yet?
That is the berry glitch. Also, no it doesn't.
Yes, I know this is a stupid question, but does anyone know some good moves to defeat Lorieli's Slowbro?
Thanks in advance.
