Hello, I've been dabbling in map editing for ages, but finally want to put pen to paper, so to speak.

I'd like to create a hack in which the player has 7 in-game days to defeat the Pokemon League (Pokemon meets Majora's Mask), and want to tie various actions to the clock. E.g. a trainer battle is a flat 15 minutes, plus 1 minute for each turn. Is this feasible in FireRed or Emerald, or is it better to work with Essentials? Thanks in advance for the time and help!
