    Are you afraid of the dark?

    1. Nah
    2. Hell yeah!
    3. No, what do you think of me?
    4. Sometimes i am
    5. Afraid of what?

    I am sometimes, depends on how i'm thinking

    ...why didn't you make that into a poll? O_o

    Anyway, I'm not afraid of the dark anymore. I actually enjoy it if anything. I used to be, though. Looking back, it was pretty stupid, but now I don't think anything of it. Nothingness is peaceful.

    I wasn't afraid of the dark when I was little. Like.. the dark itself.

    But at night where it is dark, I was afraid of the voices I would hear.
    Usually they're sharp whispers and satanic singing or whatever.

    And then I get into a realistic dream where Peter Cottontail pops out from somewhere and starts bouncing around giving me evil glances etc etc oh gosh that was just a dream oh I fell out of the bed too.

    Until my mom installed some nightlights. That kind of stuff disappeared. And when I got older, I stopped fearing about the voices and other strange things that would pop up in the dark.

    LITTLE EVIL PEOPLE USED TO ACCOMPANY ME IN THE DARK FOR GRACIOUS SAKE!

    So, no.

    Well...I'm not afraid of the dark by itself.

    I'm scared of what's in the dark.

    Not so much anymore, but I've had a paranoid fear of the paranormal.

    I was always scared of ghosts, alien abductions, or chupacabras or other strange things getting me during the night...I still get a little scared if I watch a special on it. My house is haunted like mad.

    Yes, I have irrational fears.

    Wow. I feel the same way...Except when I was little (or as my parents tell me), I used to speak with my grandpa...except he was dead before I was born.
    Creepy, eh?

    Not Really. Dolls aren't alive either and I used to talk to them. I had the purple care bear. Fun to talk to, but strangely even funner to punch. I was such a devil back then. <3

    I used to be afraid of the dark, and not not knowing what was around me and stuff. Nothing more extraordinary than a childhood phobia. I'm so over it now. The hall light I keep on is strictly to scare the mosquitoes away. >_>;

    I've always been afraid of the dark..
    But that's TVs fault (Like Medium, Law & Order, ones like that), it got me thinking there was ebil men out to hurt me in the corner of every cupboard. I'm also catious as of how far out into the dark I go. If I step out any further than the bin, the dog and I race back.
    I seriously don't like the dak..

    Don't Be afraid of the dark...
    Be Afraid Of What's Hiding in It!

    Lol. I don't like the dark, makes me tired. But sometimes I'll wake up in the middle of the night, half asleep, all dark and be scared out of my mind. ( If my closets open... straight from veiw of my bed)

    My heart itself is dark, so why should I be afraid of it?

    I used to be a little scared of the dark when I was smaller, but that fear wore off. Although if I'm outside when it's dark on my own, I get really paranoid and think there are people out to get me... Gawsh XD

    normal me-I was a little bit when I was...little.

    me in thought-I guess I'm likeRiku:I just learned to accept it.my main element is fire,but the darkness is something I can turn to as an ally to me,but a threat of destruction upon others.but then sometimes it attempts to break through its barrier,and tries to take over.but soon retreats,forgetting that my mind is too hot for it.there have been a few instances where I went to go retreave it though....and those moments are of which I'd rather not deiscuss....

    in short,I chose 3.

    Well of course I did when I was little but now I'm alright with it. Unless it's dark and noone is at home =/

    I don't like the dark what-so-ever, so yes I guess I'm "afraid" of the dark. I refuse to sleep with my door shut and it takes me forever to fall asleep because I get freaked out.

    Luckily, I'm working on that. =D

    I was horrified of the dark when I was little. I eventually grew out of it, but even pitch blackness scares me. I have a great fear for the unkown so I think thats why I am / was afraid of the dark.

    Hmm. However, my heart is full of the light, so it gives me the strength and courage I need to face the darkness head on and dispel it's ensnaring ways around the heart!

    Anywho, if I know where I'm going or where I'm at I'm usually fine in the dark. Different situations may evoke different responses though, but nothing like full on terror, just a little nervousness, that's all.

    And I also take care in my steps, just so I don't find things with my shins or toes, since that hurts like hell XD;;

    Also, I feel that humans tend to be wary of unknown surroundings and so being afraid when you're not able to see seems to be a perfectly natural response to me. But yeah, everyone is different though.

    I am afraid of the dark. But I'm getting over it. Slowly, but surely. :B
    I have a night light, and whenever I go into a dark room I have to be sure that a light can be seen. However, when I'm with another person I don't feel as scared. XD;

    Well, it all started when I was 5 years old and I had a Furby... I was scared of the dark for many a years after that, but not now. Im over it now. But the man eating Furby will stay with me forever...
