After much debate and thinking...THIS is the offical team lol

I dont rly predict well on a switch with spiritomb so id have to say HP dragon>pursuit. I like it on Bronzong tho. And i dont like overheat becuz it's a sp. atk and a STAB'd flare blitz would be better, let alone blaze kick.

If you can't predict, no moveset help is going to do you any good...and lol, flare blitz and life orb is just suicide...

Yea i know thats jus the guy i hadnt made up myself ill admit =(
But i did want to make a SSweeping salamence and thats the ONLY successful one so yea...

there are other sets that use special attacks besides specsmence you know...like in 3rd gen, when therer was no choice specs.

The only ones i like from there are Dragonite Fails as a heal beller, Lickilicky lol, and Miltank more heracross weak :/

Plume is your best bet, though it's a UUer...

what i meant by not predicting well on switching is with *spiritomb* himself, i didnt mean in general, i say it since he has no specific weakness and no specific strong point other then def., idk what the opp. would do.

And idk bout plume. It's slow and its hp/defenses suck and has mediocre def....i wont help me out when i face other teams so i dunno if it'd be consistant

Overheat does more damage than Flare Blitz and Blaze Kick overall. Also, the Special Attack reduce won't matter since Infernape uses a physical sweeper moveset. Infernape will probably be switching out a lot too. So Overheat > Flare Blitz

EDIT: itz me! Penguinpal6! remember? 8D

lulz. Vileplume's Defenses don't suck. That's one of its strong points. Yes, it's slow, but with the right EV investment, it should do well. It might help to improve your prediction skills, or you're success in Wifi battling will be limited.

Well i'm up for using vileplume since it's interesting, but i cant even begin on where to start with it soooo.....wana gimme a EV spread??? =)

Vileplume can also overcome it's slow speed with Sunny Day,

Vileplume @ Heat Rock/Leftovers/Black Sludge
Trait: Chlorophyll
EV: 180 HP / 140 Def / 100 Speed / 28 SpAtt / 62 SpDef
Nature: Bold
Sunny Day
Aromatherapy
Solarbeam
Sleep Powder/Stun Spore/Synthesis/HP Fire/HP Ice

Has obvious problems with Infernape. Standard sunnybeamer set otherwise, with a defensive twist. HP Fire isn't the worst idea with Sunny Day, or HP Ice for Dragons

oo hey penguinpal..i knew you'd come to help me with my pokes yet again!! =D

Okay so, even with a negative nature in sp. atk...it rly works?? Becuz thats the only thing that gets me concerned

If i wuz still thinking about using my typhlosion i'd put that in in unison with it. Villy seems like it'd be good for a sunny day team.

Uhh, what exactly can he take a hit/cant take a hit from?? Big sweepers obviously...

YEAH! How can you dare speak of Vileplume & not expect me!!!!

Vileplume@Black Sludge
Nature:Calm
Energy Ball
Hidden Power [Ice, Fire, Rock]
Sleep Powder/Stun Spore
Aromatherapy/Substitute
EV SPREAD:244 HP/90 SP.ATK/146 SP.DEF/30 DEF

I am iffy on EV spread. While EV training in defense, I accidentaly gave him DEF EV's. Not sure how much, but it was a god-send.

EDIT:It can take MANY hits. It can take unSTABBED Ice Beam, Fire Blast, hell, even Garchomp's Fire Fang. It can take EQ, & many neurtral hits, provided most of them are unSTABBED. I love Vileplune, & he's a staple of my team.

The idea of using Overheat is that it has a high base damage (140 base) to overcome the SpAtt reduction from Adamant nature. Most of the time, when you are using a fire attack you are trying to hurt either Steels or Grassers, both of which generally have lower SpDef than Def. Even with a SpAtt reduction, Overheat's power + STAB is good enough, not to mention it is also more accurate than Fire Blast

Now that i look at it...a sub+sunny day combo seems pretty swell. The only problem is that that takes up 2 slots, let alone with aromatherapy...

what about i go with sleep powder+sub??

This is true...this is veryvery true.

Very well, but don't you need a Aromatherapy?

Yea that's the thing, he'll have jus so many slots to set himself up and so little slots to actually ATTACK, which is what im tryin' to figure out=/

Okay, hows about

Sub.
Sleep powder
Aro
Hp(Whatever)
??????

Substitute is a wasted moveslot on Vileplume, especially if you're gonna be using Aromatherapy.

Well, the set I gave is the set I use. It works perfectly for me. I run HP ICE. I KO dragons, since they usually lack the power to OHKO him, & put major threats to sleep. You can't have Aromatherapy & Substitute.

The thing is i'm conflicting between rock and ice...from my other team...what is YOUR personal preferance for the typing??

Well, to be honest, I prefer Rock. Hits many types, & hits his weaknesses for Super effective.

However, I accidentlly released it, & got Ice.

Ice hits Dragons hard, a great option. I mean HARD.

It also makes you versitile against many other types, EXCEPT Fire & Steel, but hey, can't hit em all.
