    earlyer today on the news about 20 miles from were i live people found 3 dead birds and they died of the west nile virus. so now there is a warning about the west nile virus (ps it is in western NY).
     
    Not again! I am so tired of those freakin mosquitoes!!!! I hate'm, I hate'm, and I'm gonna sic my cats on them!
     
    i didn't think they would come up here than i remebered that they migrate north so there is probly 20,000 birds coming up to the north. and about 2,000 of em probly have the west virus.
     
    Eeygh, that west nile virus is scary...but I wouldn't be too worried; infected mosquitos are rare. They've probably found infected birds in a lot of counties...there's been one person with it in my county since the disease was discovered. But all I can say is that if you don't want to get bitten, just wear long pants and socks, and don't go anywhere in the morning and the evening, and don't go near anywhere marshy or wet, because that's where mosquitos breed.
     
    Ahh... Mosquitos... My darn summer friends... Brazil could just be known as Mosquitoland... KILL ALL OF'EM! GO ON! XD
     
    Oh, that's right, you've got the amazon rain forest to pump mosquitos into your backyard o_O I've never thought what a Brazilian summer must be like, people probably get covered in bites x_x Not to mention that the mosquitos in brazil carry malaria, which makes west nile sound almost harmless compared to it...

    I live in the south Brazil, no Rain Forests here :P
    Our summers are:
    - Hot
    - Mosquitos Everywhere
    - Fun ^^
    - More Hot
    - Hot Rain O______o
    - Cool
    - More Mosquitos
    - Lots of Mosquitos
    - Vacation XD
    - Dun, Dun, Duuuuuunnn: Mosquitos! XD
     
    Man...misquitoes are a tricky bunch...there are so many and so secluded ya wonder how it can be contained...shikes!

    Boy thank god, I live east of NY. :P
    *sigh* That's going to lower my chances to go out and play in the park.

    I've got a bite in the arm a couple of weeks ago and I don't want another one.
     
    I live in eastern NY and I did not hear about any new cases on the news this evening or tonight. O_o Must be odd then..XD or noone knows yet.


    Edit: Wait CBS was showing a thing on it a min ago O_O
    CBS is slow tho..XD I bet ABC had it on earlier..
    NBC is the slowest of em all they might not have it on til tomorrow O_O

    I think I saw it in NY1. Yeah...nothing can beat NY1 news...especially since it's on 24/7 :P
    I'm afraid some could get into my house from my garden.

    Never heard of that O_o I live in Eastern/Northern NY ... Like Near Canada..XD
     
    Ah Malaria...my good friend XD and so's West Nile, i love them both so XD i heard that only the female mosquitos bite...or was it only the males XD well i heard that only one gender of mosquitos bite...yesh! so how'd ya tell the difference? XD

    Gah...I hate diseases carried by insects... O-o ...just think of it...blood sucked out from birds then goes to your own blood ... *shudders*
     
    Eh? I just wonder how they puncture the skin with that bendy needlenose of theirs?
     
    Yeah.. Kinda stupid how something like 2cm big can kill you O_o
     
    Meh. Same thing with Black Widow spiders, just all of those can kill ya.
