AIM bug...anyone else got it?

    =-=;; i have no idea...but one day my AIM suddenly imd people by itself...anyone else got this bug?

    i think its caused by a program called "buddylinks"

    its located in your START menu and C;/programs

    =-=; i want to kill them for making that..BLARGH!!! no wonder people responded to me even though i didn't IM them.
     
    no but i heard bout the buddypicture.net trojan.it deletes ur profile and puts oh my god! i cant believe i foun <sn here> 's pic on line and when you click hte here you get a site that silently dloads a trojan
     
    I haven't used my AIM for a long time, (Haven't had too many people to talk too) so haven't gained this bug.....good thing for me though hehe.
     
    I don't use AIM... I have intergrated IM in AOL 9... although I don't like AOL...
     
    I had it about a year ago and now I see that a lot of my friends have it. I had to delete everything off of my computer anyway, so that got rid of it. I would try deleting AIM and then downloading it again... Maybe that would work.
     
    a trojan is a virus that allows hackers to view your files see your passwords and stuff like that
     
    I heard on the news, that you might get im'd something that looks like this:

    "Osama Bin Laden has been caught! Click here to read the article!"

    Of course if you press the link that's how you get the bug.....don't press it!!

    Yeah, I was talking to my friend the other day and he unintentionally sent that. Thank god I didn't click it. =/
     
    WAIT O_O;; is the bug a trojan virus??? or just an advertisement bot?

    Another reason I?m glad I use Trillian. =\

    Probably a kind of Trojan, run an antivirus with updated definitions Zapchu. ._.;
     
    maybe a worm...I dunno

    I think I may have it, cause I keep hearing the friggin "budubum" beep mesage thing from aim even when I don't do anything...gawsh
