With Platinum coming out, everyone is coming up with interesting movesets, teams, and sweeping plans. I've deicded to make a hail team with the Platinum moves placed in.

    Abomasnow @ Leftovers
    Sassy Nature
    252 HP/ 20 SPA/ 160 SPD/ 76 SPE

    Leech Seed
    Wood Hammer
    Protect
    Blizzard

Abomasnow brings in the hail, and can throw off SE attacks w/ Protect and leech seed on the switch-in. Wood Hammer and Blizzard make a nice double STAB.

Freezer Rotom @ Life Orb/ Leftovers
    Modest/Timid Nature
    252 Spa/ 120 Def/ 6 HP/ 132 Spe

    Blizzard
    Thunderbolt/Discharge
    Thunder Wave
    Shadow Ball

Freezer Rotom brings in a new special Hail sweeper, which can probably outbeast Glaceon now. Thunder Wave for para, T-Bolt/ Discharge and Shadow Ball for STABS, and Blizzard for coverage.

    Breloom @ Toxic Orb
    Jolly Nature
    252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 6 Spdef

    Spore
    Focus Punch
    Seed Bomb
    Substitute

If this guy isn't on one of my teams, something's wrong with me. Spore for more status, F-Punch and Seed Bomb make a nice dbl STAB, and Subsittute for Subpunching.

    Kingdra @ Life Orb
    Rash Nature
    252 Spe/ 232 Atk/ 24 Spa

    Dragon Dance
    Outrage
    Waterfall/Aqua Tail
    HP Electric

With Outrage, Kingdra becomes a beastly mixed sweeper. Dragon Dance for boosting, Outrage and Waterfall/Aqua Tail for STABS. For me, the last move is a special attack that can block off pokes that wall this set. I'm leaning towards HP Electric right now.

    Aerodactyl @ Choice Scarf
    Jolly Nature
    252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP

    Stone Edge
    Earthquake
    Ice Fang
    Pursuit

Teams are going to start becoming Yache Mence weak now due to it getting Outrage. Hopefully, a scarfed Aerodactyl can bring some pressure on Mence, KOing with Stone Edge or Ice Fang. Pursuit for switch-ins, EQ for coverage.

    Weezing @ Black Sludge
    Bold Nature
    252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Spa

    Thunderbolt
    Will-O-Wisp
    Flamethrower
    Pain Split

Weezing helps out a lot here with the main weaknesses my eam has. Will-O-Wisp can cripple DD Mence, DD Kingdra, and other physical attackers, while Pain Split recovers.

This Hail team has exactly ONE Ice-Type on it. Freezer Rotom rlly helps out Hail Teams by reducing the amount of pokemon that get owned by fires. Leave your comments.

    Signal Beam on Kingdra.

I don't see Weavile, perhaps take a CBVile set over Kingdra? :S

Does Kingdra even need to be mixed ?

    Kingdra@Life Orb
    252 ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 HP
    Adamant Nature
    Trait : Sniper
    - Return
    - Waterfall / Aqua Tail.
    - Outrage
    - Dragon Dance

Water + Normal + Dragon have awesome coverage, there is no need to go mixed.

I also find this set more useful for aboma

    Abomasnow@leftovers
    252 HP / 20 Sp.A / 160 Sp.D / 76 Speed
    Sassy Nature
    - Wood Hammer
    - Blizzard
    - Leech Seed
    - protect

    Makes a much better lead.

    Changed Abomasnow.

With Kingdra's platinum movepool, it can be a pretty nasty mixed sweeper. With most ppl opting for either physical or special, mixed Kingdra can make a pretty surprising wall breaker. I'm currently also considering HP Electric in that final slot to deal with empoleon, who walls Kingdra without it.

What is the most common switch in to standard Kingdra these days?

I don't see Weavile, perhaps take a CBVile set over Kingdra?

I find weavile working most effciently as a lead due to its frailty. I personally don't prefer Weavile on a team. Also, Kingdra gives Hail Teams a Fire resist, so I find Kingdra working better than Weavile.

You also realize that the Blizzard form Rotom is still Electric/Ghost right? Meaning it's not resistent to hail, and doesn't get STAB on Blizzard like Glaceon and (more importantly) Froslass.

I realize that, which is why I'm thinking about putting Lefties on Rotom. Blizzard gives it great coverage, and while it doesn't have the greatness of Froslass(it beats Glaceon with STAB Shadow Ball and Thunderboolt) It can still do some good damage, and is bulkier.
