Hi there, I'm Allen. Some of you might know of me because of the little anime-themed sets series which I do from time to time, or maybe you play Pokemon Rom hacks and one of my walkthroughs has helped you out. Welcome to the reboot of a thread which I started last year but it had to close because of the Zippyshare links I was using. No Zippyshare this time, I've got proper links and I think it would be great to bring back House of Sounds. It didn't get a chance to have a decent run. This is the music set series which I started in June 2019, a few days before Counting Electric Sheep (the anime-themed set series) went LIVE, in which I dive into old house music songs that I've had in my collection since those sober days of high school. Mainly house music of a South African variety because that is the sound and style most common here since we're next door neighbours (if South Africa is America, Zim would be Mexico). There's plenty of room for international house and more modern tunes but one of the reasons I started this series is to give the older jams time to shine again, especially those that may not be on the radios these days. So I imagine that for many of you who choose to check out this series, you'll hear a lot of these songs for the very first time even though they've been around for a WHILE. I'm not a DJ, so please don't expect any miracles as far as mix work goes...I'm just a long time fan hoping to enjoy fine music with other fans. You are more than welcome to judge my selections though :)
As far as links go, I currently have links to Bit Chute, DTube, the Internet Archive and Brand New Tube. Pick the links which work for you and hit that Play button. If you recognise any of the songs featured, I hope you'll let me know. Or even if you've heard a remix or alternative version, it'll be great to hear from you. Cheers.
