So the idea behind this thread is to think up new names for the Alola forms in Sun and Moon. In particular, Sandshrew and Sandslash don't really make sense as names anymore because of the fact that they don't even live in deserts. I understand that technically they should still have the same names because they're the same species - this is just for fun. Let's try to come up with a definitive list of the best names possible. Here's what I've got so far:

    Rattata: Badata
    Raticate: Faticate
    Raichu: Psychu
    Sandshrew: Snowshrew
    Sandslash: Snowslash
    Vulpix: Vulpice
    Ninetales: Ninehails (alternative: Fairytales)
    Diglett:
    Dugtrio:
    Meowth:
    Persian:
    Geodude:
    Graveler:
    Golem:
    Grimer:
    Muk:
    Exeggutor: Exeggutall
    Marowak:

Every time I see an Alolan Meowth I think 'Meorth' because their chubby face looks like they either have too many marshmallows in their mouth or they got stung by a lot of bees, and can't say their own name properly.

I personally like to call Alola Dugtrio Hetrio due the He-Man jokes associated with it. I also call Geodude Browdude, Graveler Browler, and Golem Gostache, which are all references to their facial hair-like iron sand.
