Alola Region and its Champion

Hau as a champion would be pretty cool, but I can't see that happening for some reason. I'm more inclined to believe it will be someone who has more of a predominant role in the plot such as Lusamine, or even Lillie.

At least Iris had involvement in a previous game, so we knew her much better than we knew Diantha. I think she mainly didn't show in BW2 to hide the surprise of her being Champion.

Diantha was the worst, absolutely the worst. Most people say Alder is the most forgettable protagonist but at least he actually DID something. Diantha just sat there pretty while Alder helped you protect the world of Pokemon. He also had a backstory, a son (who's also awesome) and he battles you Red style in BW2. So I really hope this new champion (whatever that means now) actually has involvement in the story.

Hau doesn't seem like Champion material to me, he just seems like "Guy who wants to have fun and explore" not "Be the very best". Actually, that would make it even more surprising if he becomes Champion then.

Ever heard of the B/W rumor that Bianca was the Champion? I once actually believed it and thought it was a huge joke. Considering that, I don't see Hau as Champion material, even if he is the grandson of an Island Kahuna.

I remember that, I totally believed it too, well it would have been an interesting twist (especially since Cheren is a lot more focused on being strong rather than her). Honestly Hau reminds me of Bianca in that way, he's just here to have fun.
