i got a about how he could meet them! ok, here goes: *in creepy person voice* Shadow was abdcted by aliens, and they jus drop him in the middle of the pack!:)

not reall but i think maybe he gets wounded(?) by a bear, or a sphinx (yes those do exist and live in forests and can kill or wound a wolf) an the pack take care of him until he heals.

i lke yours better Angel, but this is all i could come upith for the moment...
