Question: Alt accounts

    So is it legal to have an alt account, or do you have to have some sort of special permission or reason?
     
    It's perfectly fine to have an alt, as long as you're not pretending to be someone else with it or if it's being used to evade a ban.
     
    Alts are fine. Lots of people have them. Even some of the staff have them, although the main reason why people have alts is to have a different name or want to start again. Alts can't be used for sockpuppeting (pretending to be someone else) and evading bans (pretty obvious).
