    So is it legal to have an alt account, or do you have to have some sort of special permission or reason?
     
    It's perfectly fine to have an alt, as long as you're not pretending to be someone else with it or if it's being used to evade a ban.
     
    Alts are fine. Lots of people have them. Even some of the staff have them, although the main reason why people have alts is to have a different name or want to start again. Alts can't be used for sockpuppeting (pretending to be someone else) and evading bans (pretty obvious).
     
    Okaaaay, we've got a good amount of answers now, and not much else can be added. Gonna close this before we get repeats. xD; Go ahead and make an alt if that's what you wanted to do. If you've got any more questions about it then you're welcome to PM me. :D
