...Hmm, something that is soft and fits perfectly...something that won't hurt Altaria if it was to walk for a very long distance, perhaps a cloud like shoe as Alex suggested. XD
 
I think a shoe that has wings on the side, but is golden. I think I saw something like that on TV anyway, I'd agree with the cloud shoes idea. ^^

I think it would sleep to the side,so it can stare at itself in the mirror to admire it's beauty.

Typhlosion would sleep sideways so that the hurt arm is not getting crushed underneath it.

I think soft, golden star shoes with high heels(?) I dunno, that's just my random answer. Although I know Nica can be more random...

It depends on how it hurt its arm XD
It could either sleep on its stomach with its arms stretched out in front, though that might hurt a bit. Or it could sleep on its back and either rest its arm on its stomach or on the ground/bed next to it.
