Amazing, yet Scary

That's so....creepy....does anyone know how it works? There has to be a trick to it!
 
On my first try it was wrong.
 
It randomly generates a set of symbols so that no matter which number you pick, the end result will be a number with the same symbol. I?ve seen this before. ^_^;
 
Lol, are you sure you?re doing it right? Add the digits together I.E. 21= 2+1=3 then subtract that 21-3=18

LOL There we go. I need to read instructions better. I wasn't doing the subtraction step. Thanks, Kairi!

EDIT: I beat the creepy crystal ball. I did it right and it was WRONG. It gave me 67 = 6+7=13, 67-13=54. And it gave me the picture for 52.
 
Okay, each time you load the page it loads a different set of symbols for the numbers. Now it?s set just so that every possible answer you can get will land on one of 20 or so numbers, all which have the same symbol.
 
I figured out why it's never wrong!!!

The symbols always change when you try again!! It's a big fake!! :tired:
 
I am very bored and have nothing better to do...

The Crystal Ball will always reveal whatever symbol is on 1, 9, 18, 27, 36, 41, 45, 46, 53, 54, 63, 72, 81. Though the symbols rotate every time you load the page. Those numbers show the same symbol. I don't mean the symbol doesn't change, I mean those ones show whatever will be in the crystal ball. No matter what you add and subtract, the result will be one of those numbers.

That's how it works. How it was wrong a couple of times is beyond me though.

LOL Unique... that's just a nice way of saying strange. LOL

And the creator gave away the strategy slightly with his example. 23 - 5 = 18. 18 is one of the numbers that displays what the crystal ball is.
 
I was thinking earlier that all the answers were nine, but I was wrong. Now I understnad. I knew it had to be something like that.
 
Yeah. This is pretty neat and all. But it's just all number counting. Check it out. Use the number 66. 66-12=54. Now, check the symbol for 54. Now, take ANY two digit number, add the two numbers together and subtract, and every possible answer will have the symbol for 54. :)
 
I outsmarted this thing in 20 seconds.. and it's not because I'v seen it before. I''m good at deciphering tricks like that. They are fun however. Anyone know of any more? I'd like to see them o_O'
 
yeah I was decieved the first few times, until I noticed that the same symbol is there more than once...meh!
 
Lol, yes it?s coming out of your computer and reading your mind. =p I do admit when I first saw this a couple months ago it did kind of scare me until I figured it out. o_o;
