Amona: The Trails and Tribulations

Blissey took the scratch attack and fainted. She fell on her back no longer able to battle.

"Blissey!"
 
The ref waved a flag. "Blissey is unable to battle! This round goes to Lily!"

Lily smiles, waiting for the next pokemon.
 
"Ok," Danny looked at Persian, "Go Leoni!"

Leoni jumped into the arena and glared at Persian. Leoni roared and hissed. She was ready to battle.

"Leoni! Use Fire Spin!"

Leoni opened her mouth and unleashed the attack.
 
"Persian, dodge that firespin!"

The cat pokemon jumped into the air, narrowly missing the attack. It landed behind Leoni, growling.

"Use tailwhip!" The pokemon's tail lashed out at Leoni, in hopes of tripping the pokemon up.
 
"Leoni! Bite the tail!"

Leoni spunned around and her jaw opened slightly waiting for the tail of the Persian.
 
Persian yelped as the young cub pokemon latched onto its tail. It whacked its tail to the floor, dragging the cub pokemon to the floor with it.
 
Leoni held on to the tail the best he could. Leoni started to heat up his mouth then when he stopped moving he unleashed a ember attack on the tail of the Persian.

"Good one Leoni!"
 
The Persian yelped and jumped away, but it quickly fainted. The ref waved a flag. This round goes to Leoni! Danny is the winner!

Lily recalled Persian, then walked over. "you did an excellent job, both of you. I can tell you will get far in the Amona League." She handed them both a badge. "Here you are, your Honba badge. Good luck with the rest of your journey!"
 
"Thank you Lily," Danny put the badge away, "You were pretty good also. Lily, what is the next town after Honba?"
 
Lily smiles. "The next town is Rokku Town. The gym leader there specializes in rock and fighting pokemon. Good luck to you!"

She nods, putting the badge away. "Thank you Professor Lily."
 
Danny walked out of the gym with Leoni in his hands, "So where to now Lana?"
 
She looked around. "Well, I think we should make a quick stop at the Center again, then we should head to the next town"
 
Danny agreed with Lana and he began to walk to the Pokemon Center. Danny entered the Pokemon Center and gave Leoni and Blissey to Nurse Joy.
 
She followed and gave her two battle worn pokemon to Nurse Joy as well, who nodded to them and went to heal their pokemon.
 
Danny sat on the couch, "After they are healed I am going to return Blissey. I think I might get a flying pokemon out. They do come in handy."
 
She nods. "Indeed! I'm bringing Dragonite." She sits down, relaxing
