Amona: The Trails and Tribulations

Danny looked at the Togetic, "I wonder if she will use Togetic on us Leoni."

The cub lion roared and purred looking at Danny.
 
Lily smirked. "Togetic, do it again! Metronome!" Togetic nodded, and its paws glowed once more. This time it was a psychic attack. Togetic's psychic attack easily knocked out Spikapine.

The ref waved a flag. "Spikapine is unable to battle! This round goes to Lily."

Lana frowns, biting her lip. She pulls out her pokeball. "Spikapine, return! Raichu, go!" Raichu jumped into the arena, growling.
 
Danny grew uneasy, "Oh boy, this looks more difficult than I expected."

Leoni hissed at Togetic.
 
"Raichu, use Thunder!" Raichu jumped into the air, and shot a thunder wave at the already tired Togetic. The pokemon fell out of the air, landing in a heap.

The ref waved his flag. "Togetic is unable to battle! This round goes to Lana!"

Lily recalled her Togetic, then threw another ball. "Persian, you're up!" The cat pokemon appeared, purring.
 
Leoni looked in awe at Persian, "You know Leoni I have a Persian also."

Leoni looked ready to battle, this first gym leader seemed to be difficult. Danny wondered about the rest.
 
"Persian, use scratch!" The Persian ran towards Raichu, claws extended.

"Raichu use agility, and then quick attack!" Raichu dodged the attack, then spun around and rammed into Persian, which tumbled to the ground, then picked itself up.

"Persian, tackle!"

"Raichu, thundershock!"

The cat pokemon ran at Raichu, but it was thrown against the wall by the thunder attack. The ref waved his flag. "Persian is unable to battle! Lana and Raichu win!"

Lily recalls Persian. "Good battle!"
 
Danny jumped in the air, "Good job Lana!"

Leoni ran to Raichu rubbing against Raichu.

"Is it my turn?"
 
Lily nodded. "Can you give me an hour? Togetic and Persian need a quick rest before the next match."

Lana kneeled down and gave Raichu a pat. "Good job buddy!"
 
"Sure," Danny smiled then looked at what pokemon he would use. He would use the one that he brought...Blissey and Leoni.
 
Lily left the gym to head to the Pokemon Center. After an hour, she returned, looking determined. "So you ready then Danny?"
 
Oh you bet," Danny grabbed a pokeball and waited for Lily to send out her pokemon first.
 
She took her spot in the arena. The ref nodded. "This match is between Danny of Mahogany Town, and Lily of Honba! Let the match begin!"

Lily threw her pokeball. "Togetic, you're up!"
 
Danny smiled at the Togetic, "Good, go Blissey!"

Danny threw the pokeball to the battle ground and a pink pokemon was formed from the red laser. It jumped up and down and laughed.

"Blissey! Egg Bomb!"

Blissey reached in her pouch and brought out three eggs. She fired them at Togetic.
 
"Togetic, dodge them, then use metronome!"

Togetic dodged two, but was hit with one. It weakly flew into the air, using metronome to create the Surf attack, drenching Blissey
 
"Bliss!" The pokemon shouted that shook herself dry. She looked at Togetic who seemed to be amused.

"Sing!"

Blissey closed her eyes and began to sing.
 
Togetic began to get sleepy, and soon enough it drifted to sleep, floating to the floor.
 
Blissey jumped in happiness, "Double Edge!"

Blissey then charged toward the sleeping Togetic.
 
Togetic did nothing, it was fast asleep. It was attacked.

The ref waved a flag. "Togetic is unable to battle! Danny wins this round!"

Lily recalled Togetic, then threw her last pokeball. "Persian, lets go!"
 
Blissey stayed in the arena but seemed to be exhausted.

"Blissey use another Double Edge."

The tired pokemon charged towards the cat pokemon.
 
"Dodge it then use scratch!" Persian jumped over Blissey, then turned heel and scratched Blissey with its sharp claws.
