    Hope you guys can discuss with me!i am a newbie/beginner here!i would appreciate I f u help me out!thanks!So I Am finding clues in sun AND MOON for clues if SERENA is returning! Thanks
     
    Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that Serena is not going to be in Alola with Ash. He has had another reset and has new companions - Lillie and the Trial Captains Mallow, Kiawe, Lana and Sophocles.
     
    As mention, she will not be in the anime. Not as a main character anyway. There is a large group of new characters and they will all probably follow Ash.

    And I don't know if you can call it a reset. He has the same skill level, just not his pokemon. And he has recalled events from the passed.

    Serena will probably make a cameo appearance since she is so popular. I have a feeling a lot of old characters will cameo throughout the SM Saga.

    We'd probably never get her as a main cast member. She'd probably make a 2 episode cameo near the tail-end of the series tho.
