    How long did it take for you to finish your degree in IT? Feel free to correct me regarding that and:

    Aside from Romhacking, what other programming related activities do you do?

    I actually work uncertified, but once I'm finished with high school I'm going to be getting an AAS (Associate's in Applied Science) for "Computer Information Technology" from Wake Tech community college.

    Well, there's two bits to what I do that involves ROM hacking - first, actually ROM hacking, i.e. editing the games and the like; secondly, there's true development work I do developing tools for use with ROM hacking, such as with my unreleased project Sapphire. Aside from that I also do some minor web development, mostly for a WIP site called the Cave of Origin and the home page for my Minecraft server. I also manage that server alongside the web server and also an IRC server, all ran on an OVH box sporting CentOS 6.4. I've been working with VPSes for about two years now and just bought this dedicated box a month an a half ago. :)
     
    I see you're a ROM Hacker, like myself, so, I'm just gonna ask 1 question. How did you learn/discover ROM Hacking?

    Since others are content in telling me that my preferred colour for Platinum looks like piss, I doubt it's changing anytime soon. So I made a move instead, tbh I see Silver the least around the forums and my platinum tier is shown anyway in my rank text/image.

    Back in 2010 I had run into some link or another about something called Pokémon Brown, and upon watching a playthrough of it by MunchingOrange I learned about emulation and also some very basic skills for hacking, ergo map editing, scripting, etc. I published a rather crude hack in 2012 called Pokémon Dragonstone, and since spending two years developing the canon from that in my head I released a new hack called Pokémon Citrite. I'm thinking Citrite will be a lot better than Dragonstone as I'm making an effort to go well beyond the tool with Citrite than I did Draco.

    Well, I wanted an AMA already, but this thing was entirely ignored back in 2013 when I made it. So I bumped it in hopes people may notice it, and that seems to be working, so...

    Well, I've always hung around the off-topic sections the most, since TT was CC&P actually. Precisely right around the time it stopped being OVP. I've been here a long time and am insanely active, but that changed a little when I decided to stop caring about the meta behind PC. The community is missing some key things that prevent my involvement with it to be anything more than me bloodying my head against a wall, so I plopped myself in the off-topic forum and stopped caring. It's really annoying when you see people who are still giving too much of a fuck, it's like come on - this is a Pokémon forum. We all have lives, right?

    It's a reference to a beautiful and original Alice in Chains instrumental called Whale & Wasp. I bet you can't guess which leading sound is the whale and which is the wasp! ;P

    I used to have a pitbull-labrador mix named Puppy, but he went to the pound. After that we got a black cat named Arthur who ran away because he hates other cats, oddly when we got a kitten named Iunet. The kitten has made a parental bond with me so I doubt he'll be leaving.

    I see myself helping lead a new IT business with my technical skills, where we're up making profit and continually growing like a business should. Kind of like a partner-in-crime kinda position.

    Unfortunately, I don't. As a kid I'd write English in the Greek and Egyptian alphabets, but that was about it. :/

    Hobbies, hmm let's see... uh, bike riding? I love that. Back when I was at my old military high school Junior ROTC was a huge obsession for me, lol. I loved that. :P

    I started playing with beta 1.7.something, and enjoyed the game the most around 1.0-1.1 on a multiplayer server called Mutt's World. But some shit happened on that server, someone big got fired, they started forcing Towny, so I left.

    Ehhhhh, no. I'd like to, but no interest in them except for Gen VI, for which I have no 3DS.

    My favourite Pokémon is Persian. I really like how it speaks of intelligence, elegance, and wealth all at once. And it's not stupid money, either. I 100% agree with Giovanni's choice for a partner. ;)
