~ An introduction!

Hi everyone! I'm new here (duh lol)

I'm not the best when it comes to talking about myself - which is funny cause I'm a bit narcissistic - so introductions can be a bit tough for me ^.^;


My name is Ipo but only really my family calls me that, so you can call me Lani. I like Pokemon and aaadoooore grass types. Besides that I'm a bit of a busybody, always trying to stay busy or else I feel like I'm wasting time. I love the outdoors and just love moseying outside or laying in the backyard with my dog (a cute boxer!).

It's hard to describe myself because me and my friends say I'm a walking contradiction. I love sports and being outside but I just as much love to sit in front of the tv and vedg out. I love movies and probably watch too many for my own good (curse you Netflix!)

When I am on the computer I love to talk and RP. My art teacher has said I'm a huge social butterfly(butterfree?) and well...she's right ^.^;;; I love talking to people and am always up for meeting someone new. Don't be shy to pm me or say hi or whatever!



And that's that. Like I said I'm not very good at this so I'm not sure what else to put. Any questions? lol

A fan of Grass type Pokemon eh, which is your favourite? I'm going to guess a Bellosom, Celebi or ... Roserade. Though everyone knows it's all about Ivysaur!
What games are you currently playing (if you are) Heart Gold/Soul Silver?

lol I actually have a grudge against Bellosom. I like it, it's cute...but I don't think it belongs in the Vileplume family.

I like Roserade but probably Roselia and Budew more. Speaking of...does anyone else get a sort of Ivy from Soul Calibur vibe from Roserade or is it just me?

My favorite grass type though? Probably Oddish or Gloom but I also love Sunflora.


Oddly enough I'm not playing HG/SS right now u.u; it's a strange phenomenon but I've not picked it up yet.

welcome to the community! I also like Grass pokemon, despite my stronger love for Fire/Dark xD

My Fav. Grass pokemon for a very long time was Venusaur, but it was then replaced by either Breloom or Torterra, it's a very close call between them :(

Torterra = Super awesome
Breloom = Adorable lol

Anywhoodles.

I recommend getting HG cause... well, I dunno I just liked Gold more haha. :P

Glad I'm not the only one lol. I especially feel it during the show.

And yeah I plan on getting Heart Gold. Mostly because I ♥ hearts and the color gold! lol I just haven't picked it up cause I've been super distracted/busy lately.

I like Venusaur (Edit: Oops I meant Ivysaur...same difference lol) since it kind of reminds me of Cera from The Land Before time ^.^; I dunno why, I just do. I guess it just has that cute sassy/grumpy look to it.


Also wow are you guys fast. I'm used to this introduction thread thingies taking sometime before anyone says hello lol ...maybe you're not fast but just more friendly (or both lol)

Edit: Btw, about the colored text... I know there's the option to change while posting but is there like a place in the profile/preference section where you can set it up to be permanent? Or do you have to change it every post?

I battle exclusively with my Mono-Grass team a lot <3 I just recently started calling myself a Dark Specialist lol.. before that it was Grass :P

Also, yes you can change the default colour in User CP --> Edit Options --> Default Text formatting settings.

My favorite would be Dark. xD They simply kick-ass! Shiftry is one of my favorites, being Dark + Grass type ;)
