Anisummer Tournament (Results) Discussion Thread!

This was pretty an easy match up choice for me. Abstained about 18 out of the 50 listed. Which it is pretty good. I watched a lot of anime back in the day. XD

But there were two in the list I came across, Lucky Star vs. Detective Conan [Case Closed] and Cassern SINS vs. Ghost in the Shell. I seen Lucky Star and Detective Conan, but I really didn't care for them. But I went ahead and picked one from that list. And I haven't seen Cassern SINS so I picked Ghost in the Shell. I didn't care for that series either. And I am not into One Piece, but I haven't seen Gintama. So I picked One Piece because I did seen some of it. Again I don't care for the series.

So maybe I should have abstained those. But I thought maybe if you heard or seen some of the series, you can choose it. Oh well...

Let the best anime win!
 
Damn, looks like Evangelion is going down this round. That's disappointing. :(
 
It's tough to believe I was the only one who went against 16 people in voting for Cyborg 009 against Geass, but that's to be expected I suppose. Some surprises: Bakemono lost, Air lost, Fairy Tail lost, and of all things, LUCKY STAR lost by a good margin.

I know, wtf at lucky star losing to conan.
 
Baccano! vs. Durarara!! was a fun one to choose, but in the end, Claire's bloodlust outweighs Izaya's manipulative bastard...ness. Abstained Conan vs. Hetalia and Lucky Star vs. To Aru because those were too close to call.

Somehow I still managed to vote in half of the brackets. I thought I abstained more than that, oh well.
 
It was easier to choose this time around. Again, I abstained the ones where I didn't care for either shows.
 
Cowboy Bebop vs. Utena? Not fair. D: Those are like the very first anime I ever saw. I couldn't choose one over the other.

I abstained a bazillion times again. Kinda makes me wish it was a manga tournament instead of an anime one.

CCS vs. Gurren Lagann will be an interesting matchup when/if it DOES come about, especially since all of the opponents it's had is all Shonen-ish
 
This round wasn't that tough for me to make decisions. The only one I can remembers from the top was Ragonball vs Inuyasha....what a battle. Demons, monks, a schoolgirl, and a demonslayer vs high powered testorone filled super saiyans...interesting. its also good to see Sonic X is getting some lovethis round. I've never watched it but Jojos Bizzare Adventure sounds boring :|
 
some really tough decisions this time around

TTGL vs. One Piece was the single hardest decision...ever...possibly harder than red v. blue
 
Didn't vote in the last one due to vacation, but I'm happy that Rosario+Vampire made it :D
 
Sorry about that, multiple things including Gen Con, me dying after surgery, and other things. I'll get it up as soon as i can
