4th Gen Annoying rare stuff in the underground

It is so hard for me to find any fossils in Pearl. *harumph* It's easier finding my bed.
 
i remember i spent hours digging underground(nothing better to do at that point other than collecting goodies) so i had a lot of pretty much everything i'm supposed to find down there. from the looks of it, some of you had trouble finding fossils for some reason... i guess i was pretty lucky. but the good thing about 4th gen is that we have wi-fi now. just head to the trading forum if you're missing a certain pokemon. i went there and i completed my pokedex in no time.
 
Other than the Arceus plates I have been getting moon stones which have said to be rare by some. It might be the most common rare item I've been getting recently.
 
all I find are stupid Fire and Thunderstones. Back when I was playing Pearl, all I will find is Heartscales and barely found any evolutions stones

I strongly agree. In Pearl I would only find things like everstones and things like that, but in Platinum I have been finding Odd Keystones, Red Shards, and much more.
 
I keep getting fossils that i already have i have like 6 claw fossils ><
But i found what i was looking for a leaf stone, which wasn't so annoying :P
 
I've been getting Helix Fossils a whole lot. At first I thought they were rare, but now they just appear too much.
 
I see tons of Leaf Stones, which is sort of annoying.

I love finding fossils, which I never find enough of. It's rare enough for me to find a Root Fossil, let alone an Old Amber or Odd Keystone. You can never have too many shots at soft resetting for high IVs, good natures, and shinies.

(I class the Keystone as a fossil since it can be turned into a Pokémon.)
 
Old Amber is another thing that just keeps appearing these days for me. At first, I was glad to get them but now, they're getting kind of annoying.

How can you find both fossils in one game? It's Armor Fossil in Pearl and Skull Fossil in Diamond.

In Platinum, if your ID is odd you should get Skull Fossils and if it is even you get Armor Fossils.
 
Ur lucky to even find search stuff when all i get are gems and a "few" heart scales
 
I buried loads of spheres near my base so i could let them grow and get better items for my base. I then noticed that every day a there would be loads of treasure in the walls were i plants the spheres... and i have been getting really good treasure as well!

I decided to to this in a few other areas and have gotten the same result.

Its a win win situation as you get a lot of good treasure and your spheres grow bigger, allowing you to get better decorations!

Not necessarily, this thread is about what item appears a whole bunch of times that you thought was rare but it isn't for you. Maybe the thread gave him an idea but still.

Anyways, star pieces is something I thought wouldn't appear much, but they just seem to appear all the time for me now.
 
For some odd reason I have been getting Sun stones a whole lot. I have never gotten them before so I knew it was rare for me, but not anymore.
 
T_T All I ever find is stupid spheres. I don't know if it's something to do with where you are in the tunnels, but I only tried it in Eterna.

Moon stones appear a drastic amount of times. I don't even get Sun stones as much as Moon stones and I use to think they were quite rare. To me, they're getting annoying bit by bit.
