    Purpose
    Well, like the title says, this is the Anti-Cloning Club. Now most of you are probably asking "Why should I care if I get clones?" Well, let's say you got a shiny Kyogre that was fairly hard to obtain, and you want a Mew, and someone has a legit one. Of course this is fine and all, but if the Mew trader has clones, he will have the shiny Kyogre, and still has a Mew in his possession. This completely destroys the original purpose of trading, and allows the cloner to benefit more from the trade than the Kyogre trader. Of course, the Mew trader can go on and rip every shiny obtainer he can find. This also creates an imbalance of worth of the Pokemon.


    So, the club's purpose is to provide an environment for those who wish to not take the chance for being ripped off by cloners. Diamond and Pearl near their international release, so those who wish to be clone-free when D/P reach their native shores can join.

    Even if one has cloned before, or does not fully despise cloning, they can still join as long as they refrain from using cloning for trading and battling.

    How to join
    Joining is simple and easy. Just put a link and banner, until a banner is made just a link.

    Yeah, but do the rules really apply in this case? I mean, this club is just based on opinion, and doesn't really promote any hatred towards anything...

    and I mean, although it may be fictional, I can see that he does bring up a valid point...
     
    This club is fine, as it is not an "Anti-Club" in a bashing/hating/whatever way.
    It's a club for those who'd like to rather have "unique" Pokémon, rather than cheated ones, which is what "cloning" is.

    cloning is not cheating it is a glitch in the game and i think it is good for the non transfer back from d/p lol

    but we all have our opionions

    Cloning can only be considered cheating once one takes the glitch to his/her's advantage. Cloning is a glitch, not a cheat.

    I believe the example where the Mew Trader has clones to get rare shiny pokemon while still keeping copies of mew is considered 'taking advantage of a glitch.' Therefore, that fails, and I believe this topic is still legit, unless you were trying to clarify the exact definition, which if that was the case, I apologize for being an ass. Highlight that if you want to read the end. [it wasn't exactly a bad word, but you never know]

    Shinyhunter, taking advantage of a glitch is the same as cheating, since it is not legit in its own way. You fail to realize that using a glitch is classified as cheating, it's just that it requires no tool such as Gameshark to be used.

    To be on topic, I'd like to join. I'll put the stuff in my siggy.

    Yes cloning is a glitch but it can be used wrongly in certain cases which is when it is bad. I don't beleive in the need to clone pokemon i just raise non-uber pokemon build a cool team that i like. Cloning is a bad thing when it is used to cheat, with that said can i join?
     
    like i said come and do what the made for if no responese is made each weak unless you have a good reason leave
     
    I'm not all that against cloning, but I see what you're saying.

    My friend clones things, but he gives them to us for near to nothing.
