Hello! I've been working on this team for a while, and I find it usually works ok, but I'd like to see if anyone has any thoughts on how to improve. I made this team for doubles metagame.
Adamant metagross
Ability: clear body/tough claws
meteor mash
zen headbutt
ice punch
earthquake
@metagrossite
252ATK/252SPD/4DEF
Adamant Talonflame
Ability: Gale Wings
Tailwind
Brave Bird
Protect
Will-o-wisp
@Life Orb
252HP/252ATK/4SPDEF
Metagross and Talonflame form the core of my team. Talonflame will usually clear any fast threat or anything that threatens Metagross, with Metagross cleaning up anything slow. I didn't put any EVs into Talonflame's speed because Gale wings pretty much always makes it go first.
Jolteon
Ability: Volt absorb
Discharge
Signal Beam
Thunder
Thunderbolt
@Zap Plate
252SPATK/252SPD/4DEF
Jolteon usually comes into play if metagross is taken out and is good at countering Water- and flying-types, which are usually major threats for metagross and talonflame.
Staraptor
Ability: Reckless
Brave Bird
Final Gambit
Close Combat
U-turn
@Choice Band
252SPD/252ATK/4DEF
Staraptor is usually pretty good and hits hard, but its lower speed can make it tough to hit first, since its fairly fragile.
So, what do you think of it overall? I was considering changing Staraptor, but I'm not sure about it.
