Any Death Note Fan's Here?

Death Note is love. <3

At first, the series turned me off because of L's character design and the whole creepiness to the series. Once I sat down and tried to read it, I fell inlove with L and the series. Part II isn't that great, but it's ok I guess. I own the Live-Action movies and an L plushie. Near is an L clone.. and Mello is too. >(

I loved te 'L' arc, then I found it went kinda downhill from there. I liked Near and Mello as characters, but they couldn't replace L. I like the manga more than the anime series, but its still in my top three fave animes at the moment. I do like it and I was attatched from the start, but I lost a little intrest when L keeled it, he was my favourite XP
 
I think i'm on episode 21, it's pretty cool but L always pisses me off for some reason.

I think I've seen all episodes except 36 and 37... (that's the last one rite? at least I can't find any other episodes anywhere...)

I'm a Death Note fan, as well. I recently finished watching the entire adaptation, and found myself grossly disappointed with the usage of Matt. It felt as though he was brought into the series to simply be killed three episodes later.
 
I like Death Note. The manga is pretty interesting but some parts are boring to me. I haven't watched the anime yet.

O.o who's Matt? I must've missed some part... or is he only in the manga?
 
(edit), he is in the manga, we've been aware of his existance since volume 9 i think, but as of finishing #10, he hasnt actualy DONE anything yet.
 
volume 10 made me feel wierd.
Light had to have ___ with the news reporter girl to get in contact with the new second Kira lol!
 
Ok, that's why I didn't remember him. ^^' I've only read the first volume of the manga. I've watched all the anime, but they seem to be quite different. O.o

I think the ending to the anime was brilliant. Tough it was so sad that it almost made me cry *sniff*. What do you guys think? ^-^
 
Yeah, the anime and manga are both VERY good, but they are also very different.

I bought the first volume of the manga, but after I read it I thought it was too similar to the anime, so I decided not to buy the next volume :D:D
 
Heh. I saw some real differences, probably beacause I read the manga first.
 
yep, but I hadn't even watched all the anime episodes at the time ^-^ so I thought they would be the same, but apparently they are not.
 
I'm a death Note Fan. I watched the entire Anime Series week in week out. My favorite Characters is Ryuuku and Mikami. I found it very interesting. The moment I got hooked was when Raito said he would become the god of the new world he was to create. That hooked me soo much.
