    I am a UK resident and I am getting Pokémon Platinum next week when it is released in the states so if you are like me getting it imported post here and discuss you anticipation like I am having at the moment because I have pre-orded it a month ago and am getting a free Giratina Origin Forme model so I cannot wait.

    XD It's a tad off-topic but, at Gamestop, when I got SMG they gave me the coin (even when I didn't reserve the game) I guess they must be getting rid of those, or not many people are pre-ordering atm. I'm not in the UK either, but I got the game though. Although, I'd like to get that Giratina figure as well. (put it next to the tv) The wait might seem short, but days always go very slow if you start wanting the game more. :\

    I've got it on order. Can't wait to start playing, did the same thing with Pearl.
     
    i may get it when its actually released in the UK and the price has gone down a little.. i'm happy with pearl right now
     
    I'm gonna preorder it at the beginning of May so I can get the Giratina Figure :P
    Might upgrade to a DS Lite aswell if the DSi makes them cheaper, then I can play it on a brighter screen.
     
    Im quizzing it over atm.
    I'm deciding wether to import platinum or get Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
    It's a tough choice >_<.
     
    I got my copy yesterday, my friend owns his own game shop in London and imported them direct from NoA im not too far though but im enjoying it so far.
     
    I'm definitely importing as soon as I can- I did the same with Diamond, and I got it a lot cheaper than what it was priced when it came out over here two or three months after. ^_^
     
    hey, i live in India and my friend and I are such big fans of pokemon that we imported pokemon platinum (japanese) and now now english one from US.
     
    I could ask my brother to get it when he goes on holiday to America. I don't particularly care if he gets it or not really. He might be embarrassed to get it while with his mates probably. I'm in no rush to get it actually.
     
    I'm placing my import order right now. XD Should hopefully have it mid-next week, which is better than having to wait until May. D:
     
    I'm in the UK too,my mum ordered Platinum for me off Ebay. It's from Hong Kong though,so it may take a few weeks to get here,I can wait though. ^^
     
    I'm not importing it, but its highly likely that I'll be getting an American version soon. A local store usually imports the games once they're out in the US, but at the moment, all I see in that store are pre-order flyers. It'll likely be in-store, if they plan on ordering some from the US, sometime next week.

    Despite the fact that I have the Japanese version, I still want an English version. So I'll probably end up with three Platinum games, once it is officially released in the UK. XD
     
    I know alot of you had it imported, but is anyone else getting a bit annoyed having to wait until May?
    I want the Strategy Guide and the pre-order Giratina model!
     
    According to Game.co.uk… it's the 22nd of May 09.
    For me the gameplay would be the same.
