yes. i to will go to the ds firstly i prefer 2d graphics in hand helds. not those ps2 graphics. 2 it will be more economic with 500 dollars i could buy 2 nintendo ds and like 3 or 4 games. o and as i was saying nintendo is the king of handhelds it have more experience that sony doing handhelds.

They merely have more history in handhelds.

DS is not more economic. DS will cost $200+ while PSP will cost around $250.

And it is illegal for a game console to be sold for over $400.
YES there are laws that limit pricing.

However, the Next-Gen systems will probably cost more than $400, because they will be classified as a computer system instead of a gaming console.

And just so you all know, the limit on the price of a single video game is $70
 
sorry. ok i have a ps2 and all there is only one reason i buy it and it was for final fantasy but now i now that the real FINAL fantasy would be final fantasy 12. there are only rumors. that is one of the resons i would not buy psp and because i have been playng my whole life nintendo.

Excuse me? I'm sorry...but all of your posts seem to be based on opinions...I have yet to see a factual post of yours where you post...actual...facts

Limit of a game being 70 bucks? Have you ever heard of STEEL BATTALION. Retail price: $200.

PSP graphics being comparable to PS2 graphics. Actually they're quite a bit less, only slightly greater than PS1 graphics. So graphically, DS and PSP are gonna be almost identical.

2nd screen just a novelty? have you even seen the E3 tech demo? You use it for maps, online talking, and the metroid Prime Hunter movie I saw on both screens just PWNZ any graphics on ANY handheld PERIOD!

Childish games? People have been saying that for years. That doesn't even mean anything anymore?

All games for nintendo repetitive? With the tone in which you said it (mario gets coins, saves peach, end game) the same could be said of final fantasy! (tidus goes forward in time, kills yu yevon, game over). Please...I own a PS2 as well as a gamecube, and I've played plenty of both of the games.

Please, show some facts to back up your opinions, otherwise they're just empty.

Err...the PS1 came around at roughly the time that the N64 did. Nintendo already had over a decade of experience making video games when sony entered the market...they already knew by the mid-90s what would work and what wouldn't.

Actually, expect them all to be in the $300 range, just like last time. Since 2001, the technology in them has become cheaper, just like in all electronic products. Top-of-the-line DVDs, Computers, etc.
 
Look, PSP has all of these extras but does that mean it's better? NO. It had a weak show of games at E3...... with the only thing holding it up Metal Gear Acid....... While the DS had many games that we would know that are cool..... and you people getting the PSP because of Square-Enix, DS dual screens! Perfect for RPG! Square is not stupid enough to ignore making RPG's on there. Square even said that they are not sure of making games on the PSP......
 
Just so you guys know..the DS has many more 3rd party developer than PSP...OMG if there was a final fantasy on the DS system I would never leave my house without it.

there probly will be a Final fantasy on the DS....... the Ds's Design is perfect for RPGs!
 
there would be a final fantasy. i have heard rumors i think it will be the crystal chronicles. these are the games for the nintendo ds:Metroid prime hunters,mario 64x4,pictochat,wario ware inc. ds,mario ds,mobile suit gundam seed,bomberman, yugioh!nightmare troubadour,pac roll,pac-pix,egg monsters heroes,sonic and mario kart

All this talk about the DS is making me want one even more. And Brittany is wrong again whenever she said the PSP would be around $250. I watch TechTV 24/7 and all they have been reporting is the price being within the range of $350-$500. She can't back up any of her points, they are all opinions as Dakota said.
 
yes! I say facts, and Brittany uses on usin FF Advent Children as her only ex. It's a movie, cmon! In GAMING they will never match up to Nintendo because Ds had a WAY better showout of games. Oh yeah, Brittany, you might as well get out of PokeCommunity because the rest of the Pokemon games are going to be on the DS and GCN you know. so just go to the SonyCommunity or somthing like that.

Brittany...before you shoot out specs and statistics of which you know nothing about, maybe you should do some research first.

And it is a FACT that (according to IGN, gamespot, and several other sites I went to, which includes Playstation.com forums) That the DS is the system that looks to have the better outcome.

And don't call me a jerk..I haven't called you anything...I'm just refuting your nonsense.
