[Other] Anyone experience this bug on Ash Grey 4.3.5?

    Hey Everyone,
    I'm not sure if it's a bug or if there is possibly uncompleted content I need to get before I can enter indigo plateau on Ash Grey. The guard just says the Pokémon league hasn't started yet . I have all the badges, passed the entrance exam and completed anything else I can outside of getting jigglypuff the microphone and starring in the movie with pikachu. I've tried a few things like resetting the game and re-speaking to professor oak. Any suggestions? I may be double posting here... but I'm not sure where the right place for a question like this is as I don't know if Metapod has a specific site (possibly a discord?), but the amount of info on I can track down on this hack is very minimal to be honest. Just lots of YouTube play throughs and a few random forum and redit posts.

    Pokemon Ash Gray is pretty ancient and not in active development. It's been ages since Metapod has been active, so I doubt you can get in contact with him.

    There are quite some bugs in the latest version (4.5.3 iirc), so this could be one. If you used any cheats/used save file editors/moved bad eggs etc. this could cause the game to be more unstable. So if you did that, don't.

    I haven't used any cheats and only recently discovered there were bad eggs in my storage lol... was curious about what those were for, but left them alone. Let me check my version... I may not have 4.5.3 (it's what I meant in the original... not 4.3.5...). Because I noticed something watching a play through to victory road, a ninja jumps out and challenges ash for his badges... but that didn't happen to me. I'm curious if i missed something to trigger this some how. Only thing I haven't tried yet is taking my Pokémon back from prof oak... it just dawned on me that I had a full party when I went to talk to him... maybe that's holding it up, because from what I saw everywhere you need to talk to oak before going... and maybe not getting that Pokémon back didn't trigger the next event... I would be earth shattered if my games bugged at this point lol... I figured since the game is like 5+ yrs from an update it would be a little unlikely to get any response from metapod... but I was kinda hoping that mainly meant it was reasonably bug free... I'll try some save states from further back as well.. who knows... I would be choked if it's over for me on this play through... definitely my favourite Pokémon game so far (only played 1 hack lol) but definitely beats out all the others predating fire red which I've played all numerous times...
