    ash seems to always get the same type of pokemon mostly? grass,fire,water,thunder(pikachu) and flying type..
    Ash never gets any ghost or physic type. Or any dark type

    If I remember correctly, didn't Ash have a Haunter for one episode? Then there's his Muk. This is just a nitpick, but it's Electric-type, not Thunder. ;)

    This should be in the anime section but I cant remember him having anything comparable to Gliscor.

    Anyhow, Ash has Poison types(Plus ghost) in the first series.

    Pretty sure this in thd wrong section.

    Anyway, he had Haunter, Muk, Primeape, Gligar, Raticate, Butterfree, Beedrill, Glalie, Donphan, and maybe others. They don't fit his "usual" team.
