Update number 2- The Path to Rustboro City

Spoiler:

After going through route 101 i arrived at oldsdale town.
I then proceeded to beat every trainer on route 102 to get money
after buying more pokeballs i went north of Oldsdale town to route 103 to get my encounter
My encounter for route 103 was a loudred.
After 3 pokeballs thrown i captured it

I then added to the team:

Big Bertha the loudred- Lucky Survivor

Pound
Uproar
Astonish
Howl
Rash Nature

After that i traveled left of Oldsdale to route 102 which i had just cleared of trainers

I then got my encounter there after a couple of run arounds.
My encounter for route 102 was a Miltank
I got lucky and caught it first try while fighting it with Big Bertha......(maybe my loudred really is lucky)

I then caught my fifth team member (for now)
Lily the Miltank- Lone Survivor

Made it to the next location Petalburg City

Talked to my dad Norman and Wally, my second rival of the game
Norman gave wally a pokeball and growlithe to use

(Wally is supposed to be the catching tutorial but im well aware how to do it though)
Wally then proceeds to catch a farfetch'd

Cleared out the trainers on route 104 (one of them had a typhlosion)
I accidentally killed my encounter which was a Heracross :(

Petalburg woods was next
Killed encounter by crit- the encounter was a snubbull

Found a blue flute, silk scarf, and a scope lens

Gave scope lens to Lily because shes a tank :)

Gave Silk Scarf to Big Bertha

Gave Everyone else oran berries

I continued on route 104 beating all trainers until i made it to Rustboro city where the first gym is.

I will post my next update after i beat the gym.

So i had my team ready to fight all at level 11 except for fred who was at 10

Fought the three trainers in Roxanne's gym
The only problem they served was that one of them had a hariyama that luckily had no fighting moves

Took on Roxanne who had:

A Level 12 Beautifly
and a Level 14............Wailord.......
Oh god

Unfortunately, i thought Big Bertha could take him, but the wailord got a crit water gun and i couldnt switch after using uproar.

My first death of this Locke is Big Bertha

She will be missed.......

After leaving the gym a team aqua grunt runs off with a Devon employee's goods.
Of course i go after him.
After entering route 116 i fight a couple of trainers then go into the grass to get an encounter.
And low and behold the encounter is a Lvl 8 Blaziken.
I lower it down to the red and catch it in one pokeball.

I now welcome to the team Erza the Lucky Blaziken

After making it through route 116 i meet an old man in front of a cave.
He said the team aqua grunt we were chasing has stolen his darling Peeko (his wingull)
So we go into Rusturf Tunnel to retrieve what has been stolen.
Right off the bat i get an encounter.
A Lvl 6 Hitmontop

I catch it after a few tries.
I name Him Sanji the Fearful Hitmontop
I will be boxing him for now because i already have Erza.
I pick up an item above me........and since items are randomized.....
Its a Master ball.
I'm hoping i can get more than one of these because with my disaster chosen
The only legendary i can catch in this game is Registeel.
Anyway i beat the aqua grunt and return peeko to the old man who is really mr. Briney
and the Devon Goods to the employee
He takes me to the president of the Devon Corps and i get a Great ball and a Pokenav

Then after leaving Rustboro i run into May who wants to battle.
She has a Natu still (i set it so the rival would have the starter it chose through the whole game)
and a Seedot
I of course destroyed her and registered her in the pokenav.

I then backtracked through Petalburg woods to Mr. Briney's hut
and he took me in his boat to the next town where the next gym is.
I got an old rod so im gonna get encounters at every pond i can.
In my next update when i take on the gym ill put all the encounters i got

In a pond in dewford i caught Sam the Sickly Dodrio

Or i couldnt catch it because of the blizzard.

I started to go through the Dewford Gym to make it to Brawly
None of the trainers posed a threat except for a double battle with a camerupt and a pelliper
After that i faced Brawly

I used Erza to incinerate the Beedrill and stomp on the Absol
Then fed the Pidgey to Offense.
Not as bad as i thought

The road to the third gym is a long one so ill update once i get there.

Update 6- The road to Mauville city

No team recap because nothing has changed except a few level differences.

After beating Brawly i ventured into Granite cave.
My encounter there was a ditto
I caught and put into my PC Terminator the Sickly Ditto

I then got on Mr. Briney's boat and traveled to next place Slateport City
I beat all the trainers on the beach and in the beach hut.
In Slateport I needed to find Captain Stern.

I noticed once getting into the city there was a big mass of team aqua grunts blocking the museum.
After talking to one of Captain Stern's assistants i was able to go into the museum.
I found Stern on the top floor only after talking to him i had to fight 2 team aqua grunts.
After beating them I continued North to Route 110

My encounter was a Linoone which i caught and named Lloyd the Fearful Linoone, which i boxed
I then cleared out all the trainers on the other side of route 103
I then went down and cleared out all of the trainers on route 110
May was waiting for me at the end of the route.

Her pokemon were:
Sealeo
Clefable
Xatu

She still wasnt hard because i used Erza to double kick her clefable and sealeo in to oblivion
then i used Offense to chomp down her Xatu.
I then entered Mauville city where the next gym is.

Before i fight the gym im going to get a bike and beat all the trainers on cycling road.
Im gonna grind up my pokemon then im gonna take on the third gym.
Ill put what happens in my next update.

Update 8- Lots and Lots of Trainers

Spoiler:

After beating Wattson i went east of Mauville to route 118 and beat all the trainers there.

I then went to Route 111 and fought all the trainers and the trainer family of four.
Killed my encounter which was a stantler. I did it on purpose because im never gonna use a stantler.

I got my encounter on route 117 which was a Metagross

I used my Masterball because Great balls were getting me nowhere.

I now have Querty the Lone Metagross, an Adamant steel/Psychic type

He will be replacing Kiki, My steelix

I took route 117 to Verdanturf Town

I went to Rusturf Tunnel and beat the trainers.

I then broke the rocks that connect Verdanturf and Rustboro.
A guy rewarded me with HM04 strength.

I then continued up route 111

I broke a rock and got my encounter which was a Sableye
I now have in my PC Emma the Lucky Sableye

I Encountered Granbull on route 112 and caught it. I have Vodka the Lone Granbull in my PC

I beat some trainers and made it to Fiery Path.

Outside it are some team magma grunts blocking a path.

On Fiery Path I encountered and caught a wigglytuff.

In my PC i now have Rita the Lucky Wigglytuff

I made it out of Fiery Path and continued down route 111 i stopped at a rest house and healed

I entered route 113 and began to progress

I encountered Spheal but critted it.

After i made it through route 113 i made it to Fall Arbor Town

I went west and continued down route 114 i accidentally killed my encounter which was a smeagle

I made it into Meteor Falls to fight Team Magma

My encounter was a Dunsparce, which i caught

So i have in my PC Shenron the Fearful Dunsparce

Team Magma said they were going to Mt. Chimney so i will follow them.

I will post an update when i beat them and make it to the next gym.

Update 9- The First Battle with Team Magma

I went to the now unblocked Mt. Chimney and fought through some Magma grunts
I also fought the Magma Admin Tabitha
I beat him and went to challenge Maxie
The only pokemon on his team that was a problem was his Lapras

I managed to beat him and retrieve the Meteorite.

I then continued down the mountain on Jagged Pass

My Encounter was an Articuno. I got him down to 1 hp and used every pokeball i had but i couldnt do it

I then continued down Jagged Pass beating all the Trainers

I then made it to Lava Ridge Town and finally. The Fourth Gym.

I will be taking it on tommorow and i will update then

Important Events:
-Passed by Floaroma Town
-Foiled Team Galactic's scheme in the Valley Windworks (and nearly lost three members due to Purugly)
- Went through Eterna Forest with Cheryl
- Arrived at Eterna City and was given HM 01 by Cynthia
- Challenged Gym Leader Gardenia. My original plan for this gym was to have Plutia spam Rollout to win through the gym, but that plan fell out of the window when i saw that she was part normal and water type. Tux and Dudette were also not suited for the gym, so Sphinx was my safest choice. The three gym trainers were handled mainly by Sphinx with Tux tagging in to finish of some of the pokemon when Sphinx's health became low. Unfortunately during the battle with Gardenia, we lost Sphinx though I would not forget him anytime soon because victory was achieved by him proccing bite's flinch effect to defeat turtwig and cherrim. Roserade was another issue altogether and I had to use one potion and two super potions to keep Sphinx alive long enough to weaken her and for Tux to deal the final blow with peck. We got the Forest Badge, but at the cost of another comerade's life :(

Next plan for the trip:
- Go to the Old Chataeu to catch Rotom
- Go to the team Galactic Building in Eterna City and mess with their plans
- Head to the next city for another badge

I traversed Lavaridge gym and went through the maze of fire, fighting trainers left and right.
Then i finally made it to Flannery, the Fourth Gym leader

After I beat Norman Wally's Father gave me surf which i gave to Roy.
I surfed to Mauville and got a sidequest from Wattson
He gave me the key to Mauville underground and told me to turn off the generator.
After that he gave me the TM Thunderbolt.
I then went north of Mauville to the next town and the next gym.
I accidentally killed my encounters on both the routes there.
After making it through the dozens of trainers i made it to a Weather Facilty that was being raided by
Team Aqua.
After getting through the grunts i fought the Team Aqua Admin Shelly

Before i talk about the battle i encountered and caught Mama the Lone Kanghaskan on route 120

I went to route 120 to get the Silph Scope from Steven to unblock the gym.

Anyway on to the actual Gym.

I unfortunately lost Offense to a trainer who had a Heracross that used a crit brick break.
I now have two deaths in this Locke

Im gonna start this off with some bad news when i was fighting a trainer with Lily to level her up
The trainer had a Gardevoir and it got a crit Psychic on Lily.
Lily has passed away.
She was one of my first members on the team.....she will be missed

then i made it to lilycove city

Lilycove is filled with team aqua grunts so i have to fight them.

The tsunami saga continues...

Pewter City
After some time training and levelling up my team, I finally feel ready to take on the gym. And by 'ready', I mean I'm confident enough to win and walk away with at least one pokémon alive. I made the right call about sending Steinbruck out first as both of Brock's pokémon are strong against Exyst. He has an Arbok and a Scyther, but thankfully Steinbruck and Binoche handle them, and I win the battle without losing anyone.

Route 3
After battling my way through fifty thousand trainers, I finally encounter…

Huntail! Not bad. I could have done with a dragon type, but I'm not complaining. I name her 'Senorita', and she's a…Survivor Couple. Oh boy. Off I go to hopefully catch a male dragon type.

Nope. I get a Golduck. That's three water types in my party. Game why must you do this to me? I name him 'Guinevere', and so Senorita and Guinevere are officially married.

Mt. Moon
I take a step into the mountain, and what beautiful being am I lucky enough to find?

An Altaria! I am blessed to catch this beautiful creature and name him 'Aromatica'. He's a Lucky Survivor, too. Looks like this playthrough heard my plea.

Route 4
Ah…finally, fresh air! And time to catch a new pokémon as well.

A Shiftry, eh? At least he isn't a water type. I name him 'Jackpot'; sadly he's a Fearful Survivor. No items for you, Jackpot.

Cerulean City
Things do not go well here. I make the mistake of starting my rival battle with Senorita. A combination of Poison Powder + my rival's Minun = both Senorita and Guinevere going down. Getting war flashbacks of my last attempt at a Wedlocke here. I manage to win the battle with only the Survival Couple as casualties, but my rival's last pokémon being a Rayquaza isn't cool, man.

Route 24
After battling my way through Nugget Bridge and somehow not losing any pokémon, I come across a ninja.

Ah, Ninjask, the pokémon who always had a spot in any competitive team I made back in the days of X and Y. I name her 'Saori', and she's a Sickly Survivor. Why.

Route 25
Merry Christmas to me.

I name her 'Clusiana', a Survivor Couple. I guess the present I get is another pokémon. :fufu:

Back in Cerulean City
Welp, I've battled every trainer possible in this area. That means the only thing left to do is challenge the gym. The battle stresses me out a little as Misty's Typhlosion almost knocks out Aromatica, forcing me to switch out to Steinbruck. After that, it's just a battle between her Swablu and Binoche, and Binoche wins it easily.

Update 15- The Plot Thickens

Spoiler:

I go to the top of Mt.Pyre to find Team Aqua harassing some elderly people
I beat them and retrieve the Magma Badge from them
I use it to get into the Magma Base a beat all the grunts, the admin, and Maxie.
They still are able to awaken Groudon.
Groudon flees and they give chase.
I go back to Slateport to see Team Aqua steal a submarine i chase them into their base
I go through all the grunts but was too late.
Archie escaped with the sub.
I fight the Team Aqua Admin Matt

Matt's Team
Porygon Lvl 34
Salamence Lvl 34

I crush his Porygon with Roy
Then use Erza to Ice Punch his Salamence out of existence

I then leave the base and give chase of Archie

I then made it to Mossdeep city
and the seventh gym

Im going to train and battle the gym.

My next update will be when thats over.

I cleared out all the trainers with out issue.

I then challenged Tate and Liza.......a double battle gym......
Luckily double battle are what im best at.

they had so many hyper potions.

Omastar and aron kept using protect.

It lasted awhile but i won in the end
