Ages ago, there was a gem known as the Apocalypse. This gem had the power to topple civilazations, build a heaven on Earth, destroy everything, or create life. It held all the knowledge of the stars and all beyond them. It was the one gem that could better or, in the wrong hands, worsen life as we know it. The days in which in was first discovered were known as The Shadow Days. Monsters, despair, chaos, all were normal in this new Shadow World. It was all the result of one king's greedy desire to live forever. His name was Angelus, and he got his wish.
Many young heroes rose against Angelus, somehow surviving the magic of the Apocalypse, and defeated him in a grand battle. Many lives were lost that day, and Angelus was turned to stone by the very gem that granted him eternal life. His body was lost, and his heart continues beating, until the day the Apocalypse resurfaces and releases him from his tomb.
Now, almost 4000 years later, life has greatly advanced. The humans of Angelus' world are now more common as half breeds, results of the human-creature relationships. Although Elves, Dragons, and all other mystical creatures are common now, humans with no special traits are still one of the more dominant species. They developed countless weapons to protect themselves ranging from guns, to enchanted weapons of old. While there is a balance, talk of the Apocalypse being found is becoming all the more common.
Then one day, an eerie aura surrounds the planet, giving off a dark, almost blood red, light. The planet is engulfed and life is changed. Someone, somewhere has found the Apocalypse, and they have used it to reshape life. Now, 6 young heroes must rise once more to stop this new villain, and restore life to its more balanced form.

Name:
Age: -No younger than 10, no older than 1000 if you can. ^_^
Species: -You can be a mix of species, such as half elf, half dragon, or plain human. Nothing too spectacular though.
Description: Just try to be thorough people...xD
Abilities: The species you choose will most likely already have a few abilities, although you can choose one other ability. For instance, you can be an elf with Black Magic. Since elves tend to be healers, you'd have both Black Magic, and a bit of White Magic as a subordinate. Try not to over power yourself though...xD
History: Just the main thing you were doing as the Apocalypse engulfed the earth.
