As do I. ;_; I miss my essay posts.

Moony -- Yeah, but like I said, when everyone is making quality posts, you don't have to worry about the topic changing. The length of the post you just made is the length I wish people could acheive. I can't understand how some people complain that 25 characters and 4 words is too much for one post...

Edit: Not that last post, Moony... the long one before that. XD;
Maybe there should be a rule where each post in the DCC must be at the least a sentence long. :> How can 25 characters and 4 words be a lot for a post? D: Seriously, people complain too much about the simplest of things.

Sorry...but better start practicing with a mop, you're going to need it for a long, long time.

I don't get the saying, what do you mean by better start practicing with a mop?

PC is now more like Gaia in terms of overall member intelligence. For every intelligent member, there are at least ten n00bs. The proportions are greater at Gaia, with a 1337:n00b ratio of 1:1000 at the very least; I can't deny the fact that there are some truly brilliant members among its populace, but the n00b infestation is just plain out of control there. It's disgusting, really.
Heh. The n00b infestation at Gaia is so utterly crazy. No matter where you go, there's at least one smart arse n00b pestering and begging for Gold or trying to get themselves banned. It reminds me of my school, where everywhere you look there's some drugged up ganster or crazy fool getting beat up or suspended.

And yes, there are very brilliant members there, but because of the n00b infestation over there, it's almost impossible to see a person who's of at least some significance.

You will in time. I just love giving ambiguous warnings; you should have been here in the days of reputation, you would have seen it again in your profile with a pretty little red square next to it.

Yeah, I completely realize that. In some ways, I really do support the idea of an 'Intelligent Daily Discussion' with post length requirements...and strict grammar/spelling rules.

It'd be a handy refuge, and we could enjoy a very spam-free enviroment. The only downside is trying to get rid of all the n00bs that would try to infiltrate. Jack's got all his military prowress though. He could be our commander. The of course Alan and I have FE experience, we could strategy.

Time for war >O

Why do I always advocate conflict? On some level I find that disturbing.

Ugh. :\ This conversation looks like fun.

Are people really that defensive against short post and spam?
I see why spam, it is annoying, but why the short post?

We could always wage war on the n00bs! >:O I've got my explosive cookies and dangerous war mallets always in handy. XD We just need more recruits and soldiers for the war against the n00bs. :>

n00bs frustrate me to no end. Sign me up for the crusade. XD

On any given day, I see at least 25 of each at Gaia. On the other hand, my school's actually quite orderly.

The bright lights are just obscured by the pervasive darkness, so to speak.

An "Intelligent Daily Discussion" thread would indeed be a handy refuge for the smart ones among us, but, as you said, there's the problem of policing it.

By the way, you're talking to a StarCraft and Warcraft III player (even though I'm poor at those games), and I've been known to dabble in historical military strategy. Though I may not know much about the subject at hand, I could make the odd contribution to strategy here and there.

There are just times when armed force is the only solution to a problem.

It is said by many that you can speak your mind. I don't see why I am so called unfit for pc, I did change my ways, and I don't like the way people treat n00bs. Mainly Jack O' Neill.

Jack has already gotten in trouble for that. I don't know why you're so mean to Matt. He's actually really nice o.o;

Anyways, I want Kura/Ashleh to go make that thread. IDD is much better than a DCC. Then all that will be left here is...Shikon if she doesn't want to read lengthy posts.

Huzzah!

I went from thinking the DCC rules were stupid, to thinking they were too little too late. Weird change in opinion.

*sniff* I thought I smelled 'attempt of intelligent discussion' over here...
Chibi, we are planning our current war against the n00bs. And yes, we were having an intellectual discussion. :>

By the way, your banner hypnotizes me. @_@

Kinda makes me wish I had joined this place sooner... ;;

It's pretty much human nature nowadays to be lazy. What more can I say, really? The lot of us have fully embraced sloth. Ironically, the slothful ones tend to be quite swift when posting... O.o;

And once again, you're making making me wish that I had joined sooner. In fact, why don't you try reviving one of those topics? Why don't you try giving the DCCers something meaningful or at the very least interesting to talk about?
Now if everyone could make posts that ^ size, I'd be a very happy girl. I know people are lazy. I'm probably one of the laziest people there are. Yet I am willing and able to take time to type up a post. And yes, it is ironic that those who claim to be lazy are really fast when it comes to posting. o.o;

I'd try to come up with a topic, but alas, that is not one of my strong points. You'd need to find someone else who is able to come up with a good topic worth discussing.

And I'm sure you would have fit in really nicely back in '04. <3

Don't say things like that about Jack or anyone else. That's just flamebait and it's what will get you into trouble.

In the end, those who think they are so much smarter than eachother will not prevail. I say know it alls and n00bs are the same people, and DCC is losing it's touch. I have been around longer than my profile says, without a user name, I could only watch.

I want Alan's input. He's an actual staffer here, so he could make my idea go somewhere. It's handy to have staff that are intelligent.

By the way, I like saying inteligente instead of intelligent. It's hard to write it the english way, ironically.

Too much spanish class?

I wouldn't mind reading a lengthy post. Besides, it'll remind me of the good old days when I wrote posts that were paragraphs long. :> Besides, I quite enjoy reading lengthy posts that at the least have a promising point.

EDIT: I gotta go eat. I might be back soon.
