Another version of the arcade event I've hosted three times now. Basically participants can play from a selection of flash/browser-based games and compete for the highest score. Inspired by Matt's Year of Gaming series and Brendino's Retro Gaming Event.

Point distribution for 1st/2nd/3rd/4th with be 150/100/75/15, as per Rabi's point system.

    To do:
    • Pick suitable games
    • Come up with a clever name for the event
    • Make some nice CSS (help pls, i dont have juno anymore)

Since each "house" has a few traits, mayb there could be 4 games, with each game kind of representing the traits of a house. For example, Doctrina House qualities are "intelligence, adaptability", so a puzzle game could represent them.

    Doctrina (intelligence, adaptability) - puzzle
    Gloria (ambition, hardworking) - ???
    Consortia (bravery, brotherhood) - ???
    Vestigo (adventure, energy) - ???

If you have a genre or specific game that you think would work well, let me know!

So to tie this event into the theme of this GT, I added to the original post about picking games that represent or are related to the traits for each GT house.

Doctrina (intelligence, adaptability) - puzzle, strategy
    Gloria (ambition, hardworking) - ???
    Consortia (bravery, brotherhood) - ???
    Vestigo (adventure, energy) - ???

If you have any ideas or recommendations for games or genres, let me know!

Hey Austin, just want to see how you're getting along with this and a friendly poke as we're not long until showtime!

    Still just need some games ;__;
I can get some CSS and introductory writing done relatively quickly, within a day or two, but the hardest part is just finding suitable games that we haven't already done lol

If I can't find any games that tie in with the theme, I'll go ahead and pick some fun non-themed games, so this will get done!

CSS frame recycled from my first event, will be heavily edited later. Images and colors are placeholders and will be changed. Original CSS layout created by Juno

Looks good so far! However, if I may suggest you could change the text color to a bright color (like white), because the text for me appears black, and that doesn't look well against a dark-colored background.

Yeah, all the colors and images are going to be changed, this is just the basic CSS structure I'm going to be building off of, copy/pasted from my old thread :P

Game selection/CSS is done, ready for approval!
