Hey there everyone, and welcome to the Pok?mon Arcade at Pok?Community's 14th Get-Together, hosted once again by Austin and Juno! In keeping up with this year's theme and celebrating 20 years of Pok?mon, we have selected three games from different eras of the Pok?mon timeline this time around - Pok?mon Pinball, Pok?mon Puzzle Challenge and Delphox's Fiery Escape. Aim for the high score to put yourself on top of the Leaderboard and you could win an emblem!

To play a game, simply click on the pictures in the "Games" section. After each game over, if you achieved a high score you would like to submit, screenshot your final score (print screen for Windows, command+shift+4 for Mac) and post the screenshot in this thread.

Pokemon Puzzle Challenge and Pokemon Pinball run on a site that emulates the Game Boy Color; you will need to configure the controls before you can play. To do this, just click on the Joystick icon in the bottom right corner.

If you aren't sure what to screenshot, you can refer to these examples:

Best/Previous High Scores will not be accepted. The score recorded must be the score immediately after your attempt in the screenshot.

You don't have to play all three games to participate. Feel free to play as many or as few as you want.

You have until the end of GT to submit your scores.

If you have any questions, feel free to post in this thread or contact either Austin or Juno.

GAME MODES​

POKEMON PINBALL - You can play either of the two available tables (Red or Blue); the board color affects what kind of Pokemon you will be able to catch, but otherwise does not affect scoring. The scores are not divided by table. Your table choice will be noted in the highscores.

POKEMON PUZZLE CHALLENGE - To compete, you must select "1 Player", then "Marathon" mode, then adjust the game level to "Normal" and the speed level to 1. Select any stage you wish.

Quick question: I just read the rules more closely and I see it says "after each game over post a screenshot," where I thought we were supposed to just post personal bests as we get them so as not to flood the thread, so is the expectation that our number of posts reflect how many attempts we had? I don't want to give the impression that I got mine in one go; it was more like 6 or 7.

Also, @Pokemaniac2233, PC doesn't have its own image-uploading utility for images in posts, just for avatars etc., I believe. To post a screenshot, try using a site like PhotoBucket and use the image link from that site as your source.

Nice scores, everyone!

You need to upload the image to a hosting site like imgur or photobucket before putting the image address in tags. Linking from your computer doesn't work, unfortunately.

Nope, there's no need to post every attempt! Just post the screenshot of the personal best you wish to submit as you achieve them, like you said. I'll edit the rules to clarify :)

Pokemon Pinball scores aren't divided by table, so your highscore is still 238,406,500. I just make note of which table players achieved their highest score on :)

If the scoring is the same on GBC then I don't see why not :) You just need to be able to submit a picture of your score!

Got to the Mewtwo bonus stage for the first time, and man does that just blow the game wide open. So take note, everyone, the gap between 300 million and a billion is much smaller than it appears.

I'm not an Arkanoid wizard myself, but here's my first attempt on the Delphox game.

EDIT: Well, I beat the game on like my third attempt, maybe I really am an Arkanoid wizard after all? X3

Unfortunately it doesn't stay on the end screen if you beat your best score so if this doesn't count that's fine. :)
