    Months since I've last posted...

Anywho, I've had the chance to find the attacking beauty that is Arcanine. The SAttaking variant seems more versatile than the obvious other and Arc is just simply awesome.

    Here's my planned set:

    Arcanine @ Leftovers
    Trait: Intimidate
Modest Nature (252 SAtk [not sure where to spread the rest...])
    - Sunny Day
    - Solarbeam
    - Flamethrower
    - Dragon Pulse

Sunnybeaming Arcanine looks so tempting... Grass alone covers all its weaknesses, plus Sunny Day halves water damage, and boosts damage of FT. That's a 5-star move to have on Arc if you ask me. Hahaha... Dragon Pulse is for general type coverage, also since a lot of Dragon-types carry moves that are SE on Arc (Surf, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Earthquake, etc.)

Hard to pass up such a killer move like Extremespeed though, Sandstream ruins your chances anyway, TTar will destroy this thing easily, especially if he switches in as you attempt a Solarbeam (stuck for 3 turns, ouch)

    I still prefer reversal arcanine

    Arcanine@Salac Berry
    Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Spd, 168 Atk, 88 Sp Atk
    -Fire Fang/Flamethrower
    -Reversal
    -Thunderfang
    -Endure/Substitute

    or something along those lines

I guess Arc does have that slight over-reliance on clear skies.
Though as Ttar is most popularly a starter, I really plan to save this prize puppy for a better suited circumstance. I wouldn't have it as a starter anyway.

Weather issue aside, are there any other major loopholes for me to look out for when using Modest Arc?

Well the usual Blissey and other Special walls. Also if you cant get a sunny day up in time Swapert and other Bulky waters do a number on you.

Haha just hope we don't end up battling, my team is based on constantly changing weathers lol

But yeah special walls will do a number to poor old Arcy, not to mention ones that carry EQ (Snorlax, Claydol, Bronzong etc)

No worries, Angelic Diablo. I'm not much for the PVP. I've only been newly introduced to the D/P, lame as I am. Hahaha. Back to the drawing board for me, then.

I have formulated a few movesets for a lot of Pkmn and stowed them away for rating. If I ever get the guts to post 'em here, I'd love to hear from such insightful pros such as yourselves. Thanks aplenty. :D
