    It was confirmed at the Locarno International Film Festival.


    It doesn't look as though they've even started dubbing yet so it probably won't be out for awhile. I'm hoping that the dubbed movie opening has an extended version of the Galactic Battles theme though. That would be nice.

    That is no English trailer. That is just some kid who translated some text and hired a child molester to do that horrible voice.
     
    If it is legit, notice "this summer".

    Either it's getting dubbed within 2 months or 1 year.

    PUSA, has the worst titles involving the stars of the movie. I guessed this would be the dub title. If this is legit, then I also am going to bet money that they are going to cast the voices horribly.

    It's not like Brock ever does anything important in the movies, anyway. Surely you like it for its "Pearlshipping"? :P
     
    It's probably a working title (I hope so). It's way too early to already reveal the title and everything.
     
    I really hope that 'Arceus and the Jewel of Life' won't be the official title.  All these '_________ and the __________' titles are annoying the heck out of me; they're not creative, and they're bland.  I mean, Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea's title seemed lengthy (still hate that title), Giratina and the Sky Warrior seemed like a decent title, but this is just pushing it too far.  IMO, this was supposed to be one of the more important Pokemon movies, on par with Mewtwo Strikes Back, since it involves the Pokemon mainly responsible for the birth of all other Pokemon: Arceus.  
    Could PUSA at least change it to Arceus and the Space-Time Conquest, or something along those lines,?  That way, it could bear more resemblance to the original Japanese title (which sounds more apocalyptic/important)...  
    And maybe get more creative with naming conventions in the movie?  'Jewel of Sustenance' as opposed to 'Jewel of Life,' or something...

    Luckily, this is a working title, so a change is possible in the upcoming months.
     
    Heh, funny thing is, the titles "Giratina and the Sky Warrior" and "Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea" are based around the Japanese titles XD Although not exactly the same. The Japanese episode titles are usually just descriptions of what happens in the episode rather than puns like the dub makes, so I suppose they don't see anything wrong with the movie titles and perhaps it just does sound better in Japanese than English

    At least the movies aren't based on awful puns. Or even worse, American puns. ¬¬; They might as well keep the title still in Japanese for all the sense they make.

    The movies have quite literal titles. That said, 'Giratina and the Sky Warrior' was awful. Is 'bouquet' to evil/foreign/girly for children to understand? Shaymin the almighty warrior...

    What's wrong with 'Arceus and the Jewel of Life'? I quite like it.
