I agree with airconditioning, i almost lol at people who think gen 4 is the last we'll see of pokemon.

I also don't like how new legendaries are always brought out. The number of new ones increases with each generation aswell. It just ruins the point.

Being picky. Mew has the DNA of all pokemon, so it must have the DNA of Arceus. Also Mew's clone shouldn't be stronger than it, i even think i remember that was cannon or something, obv not in the games maybe.
 
They probably overdid it a little. It would be hard to create any new Pokemon after Arceus, since it has been confirmed that he is the true 'God'. It sure is unpredictable, though. It can be any type, with a move that can be any of the 17 types. Along with its high base stat total and its large movepool, it is nearly impossible to beat. Unless you are a total noob and teaches Arceus some cool moves like Blizzard (I know... because I faced an Arceus like that and... it took me about two seconds to beat it <<;). Even though they overdid it, they did have some really good ideas for a Pokemon though. The Multi-Type thing was really a nice addition. I really do think its a little overdone though, and I hope they will continue making Pokemon.
 
They will give him out eventually, you know. Why would they make a Pokemon that was impossible to obtain?

To torment us. :/ But seriously, they'll have the event for him eventually. Shaymin was revealed about a month or two ago, so its almost time for Arceus. Althought, there's not much to reveal, seeing as everyone knows about it.

1- I was using the vid as an example of that Arceus can be used online. Someone appeared to have the idea it could not be used online at all

2- Yeah I know about that, ubers are banned in any meta games below the Uber Meta game

I hope they don't because I need it to complete my collection. And I don't wanna take a 2-3 hour drive to NY and wait an additional 1-5 hours.
 
Why would they ban Arceus from online play? Thanks to Nintendo's ingenious Friend Code system, each battle requires copious amounts of setting up between the two parties, so as long as you make sure you don't battle an idiot, it shouldn't be a problem.
 
Here's how I see it.

*Arceus=Excuse to make a new Pokemon that everyone wants but is hard to get. (Without access to an Internet compatible computer)

*Basically, Arceus is to the 4th Gen what Mew was to the 1st.

*They needed a Pokemon to represent everything, they did it.

*To everyone saying that they can't make anything after making Arceus, look ahead. If there's an Alpha Pokemon, there has to be an Omega Pokemon, no?

*Cheese steak.

If that's how you want to look at it, sure. What I was really saying is, if Arceus represents the Pokemon "god", should there not be a Pokemon "devil"?

Yes, that would be nice to have. If Nintendo does this I wonder what the Omega Pokemon's ability would be? Or what it would look like. Lets just hope Mr. Tajiri conjures up the idea.
 
If there will be a devil pokemon what type would it be?:\ It could be fire but that is too origanal, Fire and ground has already been done but it make sence plus it is NOT origanal as noone thought of that. Something bothers me though, its weird how all the rumours you here of it are true but Jugment, why make a move of every type? Its stupid because you can know what pokemon someone will use and gain the advantage through plates. Its nice how there is a god pokemon andd all but what does happen next? that generaly should be the end but only 4 gen, wierd.
 
I'm pretty sure Pokemon wouldn't just end abruptly like that, with its success and everything, but a 5th gen game has a slim chance of happening. And if it does happen, Arceus will most likely be overshadowed by a new legendary anyways. Despite how strong Arceus might be, a more uber Pokemon will come out.

Who says Nintendo HAS to come out with another Uber? They might make a game with EVERY Pokemon, and you can catch every Uber, Legendary, etc. And like stated in a previous post, they've already come out with a God pokemon, why not a Devil; There can be no good without evil, so therefore there must be a Devil pokemon, but Nintendo hasn't released any information on it yet.

I doubt Giratina is the devil, its probably one of Arceus' children.

If there is gonna be an Omega Pokemon then it would probably bring the end, as the Alpha Pokemon brought the beginning. So it is not necessarily the last Pokemon.
