Sorrica trudged through the deep, slippery snow beneath her feet, whilst more snow kept falling on her head. She had bowed her head, and put one of her arms up to protect her face. The other arm had a hold of Spyro, her Quilava, which was the only thing preventing her from freezing to death.
'Trust me to get caught in a blizzard', Sorrica said in a muffled voice. She tried to get Tank, her Anorith, to dig a shelter they could stay in while the blizzard passed, but Tank was getting too wet, so he just decided to go back inside his Pokeball, leaving Sorrica cursing in the snow. So then Spyro let himself out, lit his flames and jumped into Sorrica's arms, keeping close to share his heat.
It was a risky move, as Spyro had recently earned himself his first battle scar in a fight against a wild Fearow. It had swooped down and extended its sharp, rear talon, which connected with Spyro's eye. Spyro was still in a lot of pain, but he still refused to leave Sorrica.
{I still think we've been walking in circles for ages.} Spyro said as he looked up at his trainer.
'We have not!' Sorrica argued. Each was as stubborn as the other, which was pretty stubborn. 'We're just walking through an endless, snow-covered field with an endless blizzard going on, alright! If we were walking in circles we would have seen out tracks by now!'
{Nuh-uh! The blizzard would have covered them up!} Sorrica sighed. Spyro was right. They had no idea where they were going.
She sighed again, and said 'I wish this stupid storm would just stop so we could see where we're going!'
