Are Shiny Pokemon THAT important?

Me too Pokejungle. ^__~ Besides bragging rights, I don't really care for shiny Pokemon, unless they are alot better looking in shiny form. XD But even still, I'm not about to go out searching for one.
 
I know! There's not even a gurantee that you'll find one >>;

Some pokemon do look REALLY cool as shinies, but...some really DON'T! XD
