I Dont want a female tyranitar or scizor. I dont want a male skitty or jigglypuff. Thats how i choose. If its a starter, sometimes i want a female so i can breed.
 
It doesn't matter. But I prefer them to suit the gender they are. Like when I realized my graveller whom I was getting a bit attached to, turned out to be a female. I quickly evolved it into a golom, because I think golom can pull of a female look better then graveller. But usually I end up with mostly males
 
I don't mind either way, really.
I usually try for a female starter, though. (just because its rare)

But I love pokemon which appear to be a different gender than they are.

My team is usually pretty balanced... I think. On Emerald once it was all female. o.O
 
I don't get along with girls, guys are just cooler.
Lol, idk why I just prefer male pokemon, however, I will spend forever hunting for a male just to end up giving it a girly name.
 
Hmm, considering that I'm not sexist towards one gender, I have a random amount of Pokemon in my party, and in my PC. I just catch them at first sight.
 
In Platinum, idc. I use females (and ditto) for breeding, and if I end up with a good female pokemon, I use it. If I end up with a good male pokemon, I use it. I have more females than males though.

In Emerald, I have the lolziest team ever:

Female Treecko
Female Wingull
Female Zigzagoon
Female Slakoth
Female Ralts

i like catching males since in G/S/C male pokemon are stronger, later versions don't have that feature anymore but i still have the thought that males are better
 
I always find females, so my nicknames usually don't work. What am I supposed to name a female Graveller?
