4th Gen Are you picky when it comes to Natures?

Yeah, I am pretty picky. Even in game, it bugs me a little. Getting a Bold chimchar for your starter, and having a higher defense than attack.. that was a waste of a Chimchar.

I used to be when I first started the game but when I last had my poke'mon pearl/diamond, I wouldn't care if the poke'mon nature was, I'll just train them and battle poke'mon against them.

Exactly all this EV/IV crap just kinda ruins the game, now if you want a nature to give a boost to a certain stat i can understand that but the rest is just too much info into one little game

When I do the first runthrough (up until I beat the league) I dont care too much about natures unless its something really common like a starly or something. When I start really working on my team I am a bit picky. I just make sure I dont get a nature thats going to lower the stat I need, and/or make sure I get something that raises at least one helpful stat (as in, if Im going for a special attacker, Im not going to bother with something that raises attack)

well, I can be at times... I try to balance out nature between stat and non-battle characteristics.
