Okay I guess I better post this thread. The event will run for the full seven days and I'll need a few extra days to verify all the links that I'm going to get.

Basically here's how the event will go: I'll make a list of various things around the forum that people can do, I'm intending to make the list much longer than anyone can really do in seven days (I'm sure some people will be able to but still the point is not to finish it). Right now the list is 25 things long; if any other EOs have any ideas for things that people can do to compete in it I'm game. Nothing counts until the day the GT starts so there's no harm in giving the list now and anyone who has any ideas outside of these are welcome to chime in.

    Spoiler:

The point of the things is to give someone a jumping-off point to visit a forum they've never visited before - if it involves more than a few posts of work or is specific to certain things (like who happens to have musical talent and uploads it online), then I left it out. I'm looking for more one-off ways people can interact with a section, maybe ones that take a bit of effort beyond post and go because like I said I don't want this to be something where people can finish the list.

Anyway this one seems like a good candidate for some kind of supportership prize but I'd also be down with just doing emblems. Emblems will be one for winner, one for participant.

    That's all I need, right?

I will get confirmation on the possibility of a supportership prize and let you know. The rest of this looks really great.

This is such an amazing idea! Everything is looking pretty well thought-out, so there's not much stuff for me to say. Only thing that I could suggest is to perhaps remove things that require more effort than the rest, such as writing a video game review? I know these kind of stuff doesn't necessarily have to be huge, but when people hear "reviews," some usually start thinking about large walls of text. Sadly, I'm one of them, haha.

Honestly if anything I might add more longer ones like that; the point is to make it so they can't do every single one so it's not like a bunch of people finishing on day 2 and not being able to interact with the event anymore.

    Around PC in Seven Days
    Welcome, weary traveler!

Word has spread here in the PC Explorer's Guild that you've made the bold claim that you can circumnavigate PC in just seven days. Seven days, we said! That's just not possible. No one can see all of what PC has to offer in just seven days. Not with all the dangers, the snapping turtles, and not to mention the...well, I'll let you find out for yourself. We're taking that bet, so you're charged with travelling all over PC in seven days. Of course, we'll need some proof to make sure that you didn't just hide out in Forum Games for a week, drinking their beer and playing with their baby bat. If you make it back alive and well-traveled, great prizes await you!

    Rules
    1. Make one post that you edit with your updates and proof that you finished parts of the event. Also please try to put the list in a spoiler so we don't stretch the page too much!
    2. Take on all of these things in the spirit of exploring PC as decreed by the PC Explorer's Guild - that is, although it may not be against the rules of the Welcome Lounge to make a two sentence post welcoming a new member, don't do that just to hit the requirement. I reserve the right to not award points if you're not actually engaging with your posts.
    3. Unless otherwise specified, the proof required is a link to your post.
    4. Please wear an explorer's hat while posting.

    Fabulous Prizes
If you take on the bet, you could win...

And a very special supportership prize for the explorer that's fast and thorough!

    Let the Journey Begin
Within this spoiler you will find all the proof you need to make the Guild believe your tale. Get cracking, explorer!

Do you have the result of this, so I know what to put in the thread? Tyty :)
