Ok well it must have been a few weeks ago I watched the episode from the Johto series where the gang along with the guy from Pokemon Snap search for Articuno and eventually find it in this mountain (sorry I really can't remember the names and stuff, fill in the blanks yourself). The quest went over 3-4 episodes I think it was, and in one of the episodes it was mentioned that 'The Articuno' travelled to this mountain at certain times. It got me thinking, is there always just 1 of every legendary in the anime or could there be a few? I mean look at the episode in the Johto series with Lugia and its child for example.
Could it mean the Articuno in this episode and the Articuno in the Pokemon Movie 2000 are different? As they are living in different places? Or could it just be the writers not paying attention?
The overall question I'm really curious about is, are there more than 1 of each legendary Pokemon? Its never really been discussed before. I already know the status of some of them (obviously only 1 Mewtwo, more than 1 of Latios/Latias/Celebi) but what about the others?
