Created some Pokemon artificially, such as Mewtwo, Porygon, and Golett. Usually glosses over (intentional) creation by saying it was made with science. (Specified Porygon to be made through computer code, though.) Held the ability to do so for a long time, as evidenced by Golett (ancient times) and Magearna (500 years ago). How do you think people go about it?
______________
Guesses on an accident as the origins for creation. Witnessed a clay pot get struck by lightning. Turned into Golett. Tried to replicate that by placing clay pots in places that would be struck by lightning.
Uses a similar method for Type: Null. Stuffs a bunch of creatures into a pod. Blasts them with doses of radioactive energy. Eventually results in a living mutant with enough attempts.
Likens it to how superheroes come to be. Began as a normal person. Wandered into some cosmic rays or got bitten by a weird spider. Altered their body.
