Nick is a real small guy, standing only at 5' 7". Really. He has a slight build, his voice is still high and sweet, and if you don't look closely enough, you'll think he's around thirteen or fourteen. Don't worry, he's no more Justin Beiber than me. He also has a light tan complexion, dotted here and there with an isolated dark freckle.
Nick has number-six-buzz short, chestnuthair, usually hugged by a black beanie. He has a high forehead, shortly followed by big, steel blue eyes with kaleidoscopes of a bluer, more vivid blue. He has a small nose, small ears and a small mouth, although he can certainly talk when he wants to. His face is as round (or sharp) as a fourteen-year-old boy's are, because as stated above, he has the build of that kind of person. His skin seems somewhat gaunt against his face in low light; it actually makes him look scary.
There's nothing hinting to facial hair, because of the above paragraph.
He has shoulders about 17 inches apart, just below a long, thin neck with nothing even remotely like an Adam's apple. His arms are long, slender and graceful, as are his hands and fingers, reaching just to the middle of his thigh. His torso is thin and long, his waist is nowhere near wide. His legs are as his arms; long, slender and graceful, with small, thin feet. His knees and elbows are hardly knobby, though. He wears a neon green long-sleeve with a black, blotchy traffic cone on the torso section. He has khaki cargo shorts on his leg followed by black running shoes with neon green laces and tongues.
Personality:
Nick is a quiet and reserved guy. He hardly talks unless spoken to, and replies with as short an answer as possible. Of course, the exception is when he's really into something; then he could talk about it as much as the next guy. Due to his lack of speech, people tend to think that he's slow. They couldn't be farther from the truth. He's an extremely intelligent young man who analyzes every situation clearly, concisely and quickly. In fact, he didn't start talking until he was two and a half, but to make up for
that, he started talking in complete sentences that made perfect sense with perfect grammar and pronunciation. He's no supercomputer, but he's darn near close to one.
But he's deathly afraid of two common things: clowns and ghosts. Clowns creep him out, and he doesn't completely believe in ghosts--although, just to be on the safe side, he took this job to prove to himself that ghosts don't exist. But he likes a lot of nice things; especially the Arts. He practices them very well, too--he's an excellent author and poet, an inspiring artist, a beautiful singer and an aspiring playwright. He is also very creative and loves to invent little toys. He absolutely loves to hum his favorite tunes in his spare time, as well as read and write.
Of course, he enjoys things other kids his age do, too.
RP sample(RP Sample from another RP): Kyle woke with a start. He'd been having a nightmare; being chased by giant Ghastly. He shuddered. "Ugh," he said. He checked his alarm clock. "7:15? Better get up." He got up and got ready for school, completely forgetting that it was his birthday and that he had to leave for Littleroot Town to get his starter from Professor Birch. He plonked downstairs, ready for another day of school, but when he turned into the kitchen for breakfast he saw his mom, dad, aunt, uncle, little cousins, and all his friends from school, including his best friend Tony who had left some months ago on his fifteenth birthday. There were streamers and balloons and there was a giant, cake-shaped omelet on the table. It took him a minute to register it all, and then he remembered it all.
Tears welled up in his eyes. "Mom, Dad" he said, his voice cracking. No one cared, and he went over to his parents and wrapped them both in his arms. He went over to his aunt and uncle, then picked up his little cousins and twirled them around. Then he went over to his friends, who had caught up with Tony in the meantime. He had said that he just beat Winona all the way in Fortree City, but that The Cult was an annoying bunch of dropouts. At least, all the ones that he met. They cut the omelet, and they said their final goodbyes. He gave his mom a final kiss (for the umpteenth time), shook his father's hand and pulled him into a hug, then he was out the door and on the bus, on his way to Littleroot Town.

He arrived right in front of the lab, and payed the bus driver a generous tip, shortly explaining that he was getting his first Pokemon. He leaped off of the bus and strolled on into the lab--only to find it empty. "Damn...where could he be?" He went around asking the locals, and after about an hour, he found out where the Professor lived. Knocking on the door, he felt kind of stupid, some of his childhood shyness seeping back into him, but dismissed it quickly as the door was opened by a girl about his age.
"May I help you?" she asked, and to Kyle it was the sweetest thing he ever heard. She had to repeat it about three times to snap him back to reality.
"Uh...oh, yeah! Is this where Professor Birch lives?"
"Yes, I'm his daughter, May. Wait..." She left the door for a second and went ofver to a bulletin board on the wall opposite the door. It had pictures of five trainers, including himself, pinned on it, and each had a Pokemon pinned to them, to himself a Lotad was pinned. She came back to the door. "You're--" she looked behind her "--Kyle Ericson, right?"
"Yes, ma'am, that's me." He smiled and wondered what that Lotad meant.
"Um..." She pursed her lips as she spoke. "My dad's doing field research north of here, in Oldale Town. You can wit here for him if you want." She looked at him with an apologetic twinkle in her eye.
"Nah, it's fine," he said. It was all he could do not to drool. "I'll just go find him myself. Thanks. Was nice meeting you." He stuck out his hand, which May took.
"Was nice meeting you too," she said with a smile. Kyle started away, but jst before she was out of earshot, May shouted something to him; "Good luck! Without a Pokemon, you might not be safe, even on Route 101!"
"Thanks, May, but I think I can handle myself!" He ran off in the direction of the treeline and looked back one more time, to see May standing there on her doormat shaking her head.

May was right, Kyle thought as he lumbered into the Pokemon Center with wigs in his hair and mud on his knees. "Stupid bug...tripping me and..." He asked if he could go back and wash up, and in about an hour he was all washed up and ready to decapitate Professor Birch. He was sitting in the lobby at a table, reading. Kyle marched ovr to him, nothing short of furious.
"Professor Birch?" All the man did was look up and nod. He did a bit of a double take and remembered Kyle's face. Kyle could tell he was surprised. "Mm-hmm. And May told me you were doing field research. This doesn't look like field research." He stood there glaring at the man.
"I'm sorry. I needed time away. But, anyway, here--you--are," he said, puling a Poke Ball out of is nearly-empty bag.
"Wait--I can't choose which starter I get?" He was even angrier now, gritting his teeth and cracking his knuckles.
"You called in last, and it was first-come, first-serve, so...yeah." Birch looked mad now too. And bigger than Kyle.
"I guess I was acting a little inappropriately. Thanks." Kyle threw the Poke Ball and out popped a Lotad. "Well...it's cute."
"Oh, that she is, that she is..." Professor Birch looked sad. "Well, goodbye. I have to go now." He got up.
"Did you happen to drive a car here?" Kyle asked. He looked pleadingly at the Professor.
He sighed. ""Where are we going?" and the two walked out of the Center.
"Oceanside Inn, please," said Kyle. "I have a friend staying there."
"Get in." Birch drove around looking for it. He found it and kicked Kyle out of his car. "Have a good life, kid!" he shouted, and drove off.
Kyle stared at the dot going over the horizon. "Ugh..talk about rude," he groaned as he walked into the cozy little inn where his older cousin was staying. He let his Lotad out of er Poke Ball to show their dominance. They looked at each other and Kyle said, "I think I'm gonna like having you around." They laughed and went up to the registration desk.

History: She was found injured on Route 203. Nick took her in, but she didn't want to leave. So she was caught, and was Nick's first Pokemon. She acts as the team's "translator," conveying messages from his other Pokemon through telepathy.

Personality: Naive
History: He was found in the Oreburgh Gate, when one day Nick stumbled in and tripped on its egg. He picked it up, and it hatched in his arms. Thalia was jealous of how he was treated the next few days. He is the team's powerhouse and always listens to Nick in battle and obeys readily.

History: She was floating on the wind as a Cottonee, and Nick had to jump to catch her by the leaf. He held her to keep her from flying away. She was holding a Sun Stone, and evolved right there in his hands. She hugged him and thanked him, and let him catch her. He was surprised, when he got home, to find that she was shiny.

Personality: Lonely
History: Mozart was found on a visit to the Pokemon League when his cousin was battling Cynthia. He had wandered off into Victory Road and been attacked by Mozart. After a vigorous battle, he ended up catching it. Mozart is the "downer" of the team, always missing his friends in the wild, but happy to have new ones.
