He's a great trainer!
Not only did he make the top 16 at the Indigo League, but he also made top 8 at the Johto Legue Silver Conference.
And besides being a really good trainer, he's also a great friend, he's sweet, kind, caring, and he loves his Pokemon a lot too.
Of course, since I'm a huge Ash fangirl, I think he's really cute and hot! ^_^

I really like Ash, dont get me wrong, I just think he takes up all of the spotlight and is so overrated. I cannot get how the fangirls think he is hot. He is really kawaii though! And he is kind of like my PokeHero but Clair is more.

Oh, Prince Kingdra, I think maybe you just don't like Ash because you're getting bored with him. He's the main character of a show that's been on for over five years, and so he's bound to get on your nerves a bit.
As others have said in Ash's defense, he's a great friend to his pokemon and other people, and also someone who is an awesome pokemon trainer. Though he does win many battles with luck and spur-of-the-moment ideas, his bond with his pokemon is what always pulls him through. He's got some faults, but he would be even more annoying if he had none. ^-^

Yeah, he's a pretty well-rounded hero, if a bit arrogant and clumsy. But when you think about it, alot of main heroes are. Pikachu's an interesting character. He seems to act alot like Ash, and always seems to be getting stronger.

Ash is a pretty good person, he can occasionally make mistakes and do stupid things, but hes still a nice guy and an okie trainer.

I think Ash, is okay, He is a rubbish trainer, but he is Good and Kind to his pokemon.
