ASH'S FATHER ...!!!???

    Hello there guys ,

    i was just wondering about WHO THE HELL IS AHS'S DAD?

    i saw a lot of episodes i missed only few like 13 episodes from the latest D/P series

    but i've never heard anyone talking about ASH'S DAD or any images for him

    or not even a single episode .

    Nope... I don't think we ever found out o.o

    Then again I haven't seen any of the recent episodes.
     
    Well, we could always go with the random insane theory that many pass around. You know, the one where Professor Oak is his dad and Ash is Gary's Uncle... :D

    Ash is the Jesus of the Pokemon world, in other words Arceus is his farther becase he is God.
     
    The general public have been asking this question for over a decade and nobody has gotten an answer. People used to say it was Giovanni, but then new evidence (a Rocket Grunt in Firered stating that Giovanni's kid had red hair) suggested that the rival in the second generation games was Giovanni's son. I doubt Ash's father will ever be revealed, but everyone can theorise.

    Oh, and for future reference, Charizard Boy, we have the Pokémon TV show and movies board for a reason.
     
    You have asked possibly the mother of all Pokemon questions. There has been much speculation over the years, for example many believe that Giovanni is Ash's dad. A lot of people believe that Delilah and Oak have something goin' on. But that's all it really is, speculation. We have not yet recieved a straight answer.

    Oh and they did mention Ash's dad in the first episode. His mom said "Wow! You're already in Viridian City? It took your dad a week to get there!"
     
    It was actually three days lol. And in that episode she kept talking about Ash's father like he was alive. ("You're the apple of eyes") Who knows where he is. He could be on his own Pokemon Journey.

    Giovanni does kind of look like Ash lol.
     
    Thanks for answering guys But it just seems so not right that the headmaster of TEAM ROCKET givonnani is his father . How about his father is ARCEUS ? maybe his father turned into a POKEMON.

    What?! Ash having a father? Blasphemous! XD I always thought she was asexual and he budded off her! XD Eh-HEM! Er... getting serious now... I really think his dad is somewhere out there, being the Pokemon master Ash wishes he were, in the region Ash will go to next.... or he returns home whenever Ash is think in "plot" and the anime doesn't show home for a while.
     
    I got it, Mr Mime is Ash's dad............. what? it's as good a guess as any.

    are you people stupid? didn't ya'll read the thread about the pokebeach interview with one of the storyboard directors of Pokemon. I guess not...Ash's grandfather was a pokemon master and his father left Pallet Town to follow in his footsteps...it's simple as that....

    sorry to shut down ya'll little "Giovanni & Oak" Theories....
     
    Giovanni is the Best possibility. I saw in Imageboard of Pocket Monsters someone saing that Silver (The Gray-hair man with a Chicorita, in Moltres's Especial) is Ash's Dad. o.O
    But just wait, one day the writters will decide to put his dad on the plot. xD
     
    It's time you people knew the real truth.
    On the outskirts of Pallet one day, a mass of toxic waste and used gym socks congregated together to form the infant Ash. The townspeople of Pallet noticed this revolting entity and decided to let it be. However, the government of Kanto would not allow this to happen, even if the child's origins was from sewage and used gym socks. So the people of Pallet drew strings, whoever picked the shortest one would have to act as Ash's parent for the rest of their life. Delia was quite unlucky that day. That's why she said his father was a pokemon master, to make Ash want to finally leave her house and be gone for good.

    My conspiracy ideas aside, I think Ash's dad is just a normal person who happens to be skilled at battling.

    Seriously, Ash's father should be obviously Giovanni, Because Games, Manga, and Anime are seperate worlds, because I heard Jessie got pregnant somewere in the manga. And remember some characters in the games are not in the anime, so if in GSFRLG Silver is Giovanni's son, it doesn't necesarily have to be the same in the anime. There is no other possible answer, plus, a contradiction in the Oak theory, If Samuel OAK was Ash's father then the name OAK would have inheritence, which contradicts the fact Ash's last name is KETCHUM. So if Oak was Ash's father, he would be Ash Oak (which for some reason sounds lolotspid). And Ho-oh and Arceus? Please People, be realistic. Just like the Japanese
